The learner identifies the kinds of Insects, Beneficial and the Pest Insect.

III. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the students must be able to:
 Identify the classification of insect and its types.

D. Materials: Laptop/Projector, TV, Cartolina

1. Preliminary Activities

iii. Checking of attendance
iv. Recalling on the previous topic,
 What have you learned about yesterday’s topic?
 2. Lesson Proper
a. Motivational Activity

The teacher shows picture, about Insects.
Let them identify what they have seen in the picture.

c. Abstraction:
Discussing and explaining the topic using PowerPoint Presentation
provided.
Discussion proper about classification of insects and its types;
Classification:
 Chewing insects
 Boring insects
 Lapping insects
 Sucking insects
 Seed eaters

Types:
 Crawling
 Flying

d. Application: Board work

The learners are going to classify the following insects based on their
way of feeding.

V. EVALUATION
QUIZ:

Instruction : In a half sheet of paper give atleast 5 examples of crawling insects and
5 flying insects.

VI. ASSIGNMENT: In a long bond paper draw a flying insect and crawling insect.
