The learners demonstrate an understanding of the underlying concepts and principles in caring and maintaining crops.
PERFORMANCE STANDARD:
The learners shall be able to care for and maintain crops.
COMPETENCY:
The learner will be able to identify the types of pests, collect the samples of common insects and
pest found in garden and perform monitoring of pest incidence based on prescribed procedures.

TYPE OF PEST
A pest is any living organism which competes with human, domestic animals or desirable
plants for food or water. Integration:Human relation At the same time, pest spread diseases

4. APPLICATION:
The students will proceed to their garden, then collect and preserved the different
categories of insects and paste it in illustration board 1/8.
