Name: RONALDO ALMEDA
Type of Community Immersion Services:
Community Immersion Schedule:
Adopted Community (Barangay):
This activity taught me that it is simpler to litter than to pick it up yourself. I hope the surrounding
community recognized that their property is filthy so that they can clean it up on their own.
Week 2:
We perform tasks that are very similar to those from the previous week, and as you can see in the
picture, we check attendance to ensure that everyone is participating in the cleaning for the week.
Week 3:
In week three of the "clean up, green up" effort, we create the neighborhood a trash can. It has three
distinct slots for various waste types. and the others are working out their given tasks, while I was asked
to assist in building it.
Week 4:
We keep working on the garbage can because we ran out of materials the last time. additionally, we
varnish it to add color and prevent the wood from becoming too soft for the present, making it look
much more decent.
Week 5:
A scorching hot afternoon finds us cleaning the opposite side of the community basketball court, which
is covered with plastic waste from the "ice tubig" purchases made by the players to satisfy their thirst.
After we cleaned the courtside, I came to the realization that basketball players don't care what we do;
they continue to dump plastic everywhere.
It is the last day of the cleaning so we clean thoroughly, every piece of trash is being collected.
This week cleaning taught me that even though there is a bad weather we still do our responsibilities. I
hope the surrounding community recognized our effort to clean their surroundings and to be honest it is
good to do good things to others
