Date 30.6.2021 Date of Submission 2.7.2021

Learning outcomes: All learners can use the property- angle in a semi circle is 90º

The angle at the circumference in a semi circle is always a right angle.

Look at the following example;

The angle at the circumference in a semicircle is 90°.

Angle STU = 90°
Angles in a triangle add up to 180°.
Z+ 31+90 = 180
Z= 180-121
Z= 59º
Use this property and other angle properties to answer the following questions

Question 1 to Question 3

Question 4

Question 5
Question 6

Question 7
Question 8

Question 9, 10 and 11
Question 12

Plenary

 All learners will turn to page 37 and answer all the questions in Ex 3.2. You do not need
to copy the diagram or the questions.
 All learners will then answer Q1 to Q12 in this worksheet using the various angle
properties such as
 Angles of a triangle add up to 180º
 Angles on a straight line add up to 180º
 Angle at the circumference in a semi circle is always 90º
 O is always the centre of the circle, therefore Straight line AOB will always be the
diameter
 You will draw the shapes for Q1 to Q12
 You will give reasons for each step.
 If you need any other guidance please seek help on whatsapp.

Thank you for your continued support
