The contractor had submitted the CV of Mr. Fazal for
the said post however the Engineers required HEC
equivalence certificate from the candidate. HEC wants

Mr. Fazal have already requested unofficially the same
from the Engineer. However, the engineer are did not
respond yet on this.
The contractor has submitted the sedimentation tank
design on 2nd of July 2023 to the engineer for approval.
Engineers approved design received by the Contractor
on 14th of July 2023.
Status of construction of Sedimentation On 23rd of July, 2023 the contractor has been submitted

ponds at Uchar crushing Plant the drawing of the sedimentation tank to the Engineers
soon the Contractor will start the construction of
sedimentation tank and it will be completed on mid of
the September 2023.

3 Third party Environmental Monitoring
During the meeting held in DG SS office on 18 th of May
2023, labs were suggested by the engineer. The
contractor picked the details of those labs suggested by
the engineer and submitted the details of the labs for the
approval of the engineer. The labs have only Punjab
EPA NOC’s. Whereas the engineer is now required
NOC’s of Federal EPA for the said labs. However, in the
contract, an “Accredited lab” mentioned only and these
labs are all accredited. The labs have no NOC, s From
Federal EPA. However the contractor is in contact with

ESPak. The ESpak lab told that they will provide soon.
During the last month the HBP were addressing the
comments of the Engineer. Also it took time in
relocating the Plant location. Hopefully the HBP will
generate the report within one month. The contractor
will submit the generated report to the Engineers within
two or 3 weeks.
The contractor Env. Team has conducted the fresh water
addition experiment and has submitted to the engineer
for review. After the review of the engineer, CGGC will
add fresh water according to the experiment results they
got at site. For example, for MW-01 ST, MAT ST, CR-
02ST, CT-02 ST and Uchaar thoki crushing plant.
The contractor is sprinkling water on the construction
sites and access roads of both MW-01,MW-02 and
RAR-02.
Similarly water sprinkling is being carry on existing
KKH for dust suppression
The contractor disposes the spoil material in the areas
approved by the engineer. There is no stable place
observed along the KKH. If the WAPDA can
recommends the contractor a stable place then the
contractor will dispose off the materials there.
The contractor have placed waste collection bins and
also prepared trainings sanitation and health care as
mentioned in the engineer Audit report. The contractor
is working on it and will let know the engineer soon.
