by WAPDA Authority. In continuation of that, I, myself prepared the Cost
compensation case of EOT-01, amounting to RS 923 Million, (FWO Share
742 Mi9llion) which has been under approval by the Engineer/Employer.
However, the delaying events continued & myself has prepared the EOT-02
Case of 1624 days which has been under approval by the Engineer,
expected to be finalized within a month or two. Cost compensation of EOT-
02 would be followed the approval of EOT-02. All the delaying events have
been incorporated in the EOT-02.
In response of point- b & C, it is informed that I have issued a
directions/instructions to all the sublet Contractors of Spaira Ragha Canal
under the signature of your good self (letter attached) & Site
Engineers/Supervisors were being instructed on regular basis During internal
meetings chaired by DPM KTDP (Could be verified by him). But there are
some more lacks by the Engineer due to which damage occurred. Your good
self must be well aware that initially the Engineer could not decide for at least
9 months regarding the provision of RCC/PCC/Earthen Dowels/joints & I
have issued almost 10-12 letters to the Engineer (letters attached) with the
signature of your good self-regarding the decision of dowels/joints,
consequently lead to a damage. It is informed that I have prepared the RBL
Schedule, which got approved by the Engineer & initially work progress was
faster than planned but due to the non-provision of the decision by the
Engineer work suffered. It would be in your knowledge that decisive authority
on this project is the Engineer & we have to wait for final
directions/recommendations by the Engineer.
It is added that according to the design of Canals issued by Consultants, no
slope has been provided on formation level, but I, myself, had proposed the
slope of 33% towards outer drains to avoid damages to the Canals which
got approved by the Engineer & adopted in their further design of Canals.
To avoid damages, I, myself has submitted the proposal the lean concrete of
2 inches on drains, which has been submitted to the Engineer for approval.

Regarding inlet portal of Feeder Tunnel, it is added that work has been
executed according to the issued drawings and or on the recommendations
by the Engineer even duly verified by the Engineer’s site staff.
3. In response of Point-3, it is apprise that
Work has been suffered due to numerous reasons/causes/delays being
faced by us due to which we have successfully claimed EOT-01 & EOT-02 is
under determination by the Engineer, as mentioned above.
Regarding re-execution of resources, it is informed that project has been
insured & damages claims are in pipe line with the Insurance Company. It
must be assured that all the idling resources would be claimed in cost
compensations & it is expected that you must be aware that we are bound to
the Engineer’s decision & without his decision, we cannot move further.
4. In response of point-4, it is expected that it must be crystal clear to you I
have tried my best for the project for its safety & on fast track progress but
there are the things which are not in my control even not in yours. I m hoping
that u must be well aware than me regarding the difficulties which we are
facing
