 INTRO:-

"3 Idiots," a 2009 Indian film directed by Rajkumar Hirani, revolves around the friendship of three
engineering students – Rancho, Raju, and Farhan – at the Imperial College of Engineering. The story
is set against the backdrop of the competitive and stressful education system in India. The movie

 CHARACTER:-

1) Rancho (Ranchhoddas Shamaldas Chanchad): The charismatic and brilliant student who

2) Farhan Qureshi: A talented and passionate photographer who joins engineering against his will

He aims to uplift his family's situation through his education and battles with immense pressure to
succeed.

4) Chatur Ramalingam (Silencer): A highly competitive and ambitious student who believes in rote
learning and adhering to the system. He becomes a comedic rival to Rancho and his friends
throughout the film.

5) Pia Sahastrabuddhe (Pia Viru Sahasrabuddhe): Rancho's love interest and the college dean's
daughter. She is compassionate and drawn to Rancho's ideals, which leads her to question her own
life choices.

6) Virus (Viru Sahastrabuddhe): The strict and authoritarian college director who represents the
traditional educational system. He clashes with Rancho's philosophy but undergoes a transformation
by the end.
