Resolution Requesting the purchase of Water Dispenser for the classroom of Grade Six
Venus of Alalay Grande Elementary School.

Subject: Proposed Homeroom PTA Project (Water Dispenser)

WHEREAS, during the meeting of Homeroom PTA Officers and parents of Grade VI-
Venus presented that the Grade VI learners is in need of Water Dispenser,

WHEREAS, the Water Dispenser will cost P2550.00 )Two thousand two hundred fifty pesos.

NOW THEREFORE, upon the motion of Mrs. Odessa L. Sabado, Grade VI- HPTA member
duly seconded by Mrs. Lolita M. Torres HPTA member, BE IT:

RESOLVED, that the body now in session, agrees to pcontribute the amount of P120.00 (One
hundred twenty) pesos to purchase Water Dispenser .

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the decision to contribute the above mentioned amount is of the
free will of the members and officers of Grade VI Venus .

II. Project Rationale and Objectives
DepEd crafted the Wash in Schools Policy (DepEd Order No. 10 s. 2016), as a
holistic program for personal health care and environmental sanitation through a set of
standards for proper and correct health practices in schools.
The impact of WASH in school program is to prevent prevent diseases and
infections. Reduces absenteeism. Improves the learning environment. And prevents the spread
of communicable diseases from one student to another.
Unsafe water causes water-borne illnesses such as Escherichia coli-induced diarrhea,
cholera, typhoid fever, giardia, Hepatitis A, and dysentery. Learners need clean water to stay
physically healthy and prevent diseases caused by a lack of adequate water, sanitation, and
hygiene (WASH). For this reason, it is necessary that clean and potable water source must be
provided to the learners to avoid illness.
III. Project Description

A water dispenser is, as its name implies, a device that dispenses

water. It is used to provide easy access to drinking water. Water dispensers
have become a necessary part of society.
Water dispenser facilitates easily supply of drinking water. It is
very useful equipment and can supply cold, moderate and hot water. Water
dispensers play a vital role in school or places for storing clean drinking
water.

IV. Proposed Budget

Transportation/fare - P 50.00
Canvassed price of 1 unit water dispenser -P2550.00
Total P2550.00
