Accomplishment Report: Brigada Eskwela

I. Introduction:

Brigada Eskwela is an annual program aimed at preparing schools for the upcoming academic year. It
focuses on engaging various stakeholders, including parents, students, police personnel, and Barangay
Peacekeeping Action Teams (BPATs), to contribute their time, effort, and resources to improve the
school environment. The following is an accomplishment report on the Brigada Eskwela activities
conducted from August 14 to 19, with the kick-off event held on August 14.

II. Kick-Off Event (August 14):

The Brigada Eskwela kick-off event was held on August 14, 2023, and marked the official start of the
program. The event was attended by school administrators, teachers, parents, students, representatives
from the Philippine National Police (PNP), and members of the Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams
(BPATs). The program commenced with a short opening ceremony, including remarks from the school
principal and local officials. The importance of community involvement in education was emphasized,
and the goals and objectives of Brigada Eskwela were highlighted.

III. Activities:

During the week-long program, several activities were carried out to improve the school's facilities and

the school premises.

2. Landscaping and Beautification:

a) Gardening: Students, parents, and volunteers participated in a gardening project, where they planted
flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the overall aesthetics of the school campus.

b) Clean-Up Drive: A thorough clean-up drive was conducted, involving the removal of debris, garbage,
and unwanted vegetation from the school grounds.

3. Safety and Security:

a) Security Assessment: PNP and BPAT members conducted a comprehensive security assessment of the
school premises. They identified areas that required additional security measures and implemented
necessary improvements.

b) Awareness Campaign: PNP personnel conducted safety and security awareness sessions for students,
teachers, and parents, educating them on personal safety, crime prevention, and emergency response
protocols.

IV. Conclusion:

The Brigada Eskwela program, held from August 14 to 19, 2023, was a resounding success due to the
active participation and collaborative efforts of parents, students, PNP personnel, and BPAT members.
The accomplishments during this period include classroom repairs, painting, plumbing and electrical
works, landscaping, beautification, and safety and security enhancements. These activities have
