 Identify the reading level or ability of the students in oral reading.

III. PROCEDURES

A. DAILY ROUTINE
 Prayer
 Checking of attendance
 Checking of classroom cleanliness and chairs alignment.

B. RECALL/ SHORT REVIEW

 The teacher will ask some students to recall or summarize some of the
classroom rules and regulations/school policies being discussed during
the orientation day. This is to check their memory or understanding on
the rules and regulations being discussed on the first day of classes.

C. MOTIVATION
 The teacher will ask the students the following questions:
o What are the things you do to improve your reading skills?
o In a scale of 1-10, how will you rate yourself as a reader in
English texts?

D. LESSON PROPER
 The teacher will provide general instructions to his students.

 Checking and recording of the results.

 The teacher will allow his students to reflect on their reading skills and
think of ways to improve it.
