B. Establishing a purpose for the
lesson Time is present alongside human existence but have you ever
wondered how was the time measured before clocks were invented?
Time is used to quantify, measure, or compare the duration of events
or the interval between them, and even, sequence events. It is said
that humans have measured time in different ways in different ages.

While one of the best way to approximate the measure of an angle is by


familiarizing with the movement of the hands of a clock. Angles can be
defined as the figure formed by two non-collinear rays with a common end point. The figures below
show the kinds of angles formed based from the movement of the hands of the clock.
