Key highlights of Projects Involvements so far:

1) Currently working as a lead welding engineer for HRRL Equipment Project (34 No’s of

Columns).
 Successfully handled 8500 MT (HRRL Equipment Project) Equipment’s: Right from the review of
project specifications, PQR tests followed by preparation of WPS, WPS Index and other welding
related documents and approval from client, monitoring of consumables, automation planning
and its implementation, welder qualification, site surveillance, co-ordination with client and TPI
and repair analysis, new implementation at site for improvement of automation and to reduce
the repair rate.
 Maximized implementation of SAW / GMAW / FCAW process (Automation processes) instead of
manual process. (Automation rate for HRRL-Equipment project 76 % instead of estimated 70%)
 Implemented big bore Nozzle to shell/d’end joints by SAW weld process instead of manual
process.
 Implemented SAW for Trunnion rings / Trunnion to shell joints and Big bore nozzle to shell joints.
 Replaced SMAW by GMAW for Root pass of double-sided welds.
 Digitalized tracking of Welding progress and automation.
 5860 welder Man-days savings w.r.t. estimated (14.4 % reduction)
 Cost savings – Consumables and Resources & Repair related cost reduction.
2) Currently handling the Project – NLRNC (Client: ONGC) involve Piles, jackets, API & Non-API
tubulars, NLRNC- Deck Bridge, skid-modules structural base Projects.
3) Handled IOCL BONGAIGOAN REFINERY, ASSAM, INDIA PROJECT involving 10 no’s of skid
modules (Structure base project) with piping of CS, SS & Low alloy steel.
4) Successfully handled the Thai-Oil columns & vessels, IOCL-24 columns, IOCL-22 no’s of SS vessels
UOP Adsorbers, HPCL equipment’s, UOP Adsorbers, CLO-Filter P91 vessels Technip - 64
equipment’s project.
5) Established and Implemented ID SAW- Overlay welding in small-bore pipe (ID – 58 mm, Length:
300 mm) in Thai-Oil clad column project.
6) Trials conducted with Mechanized GMAW & FCAW welding for D’end petal # Petal pressure part
joints in vertical position.
