    How do the values exemplified by the stories affect our actions as Filipino citizens?
    Student’s Answer:

    Values, culture, and characteristics define who we are as a person and citizen of our country.
    Filipinos cherish their importance so much; Filipino values have been passed on for centuries.
    These values were put on books and were said to us as stories when we were kids.

    Stories affect our actions as Filipino citizens because we always hear stories like "Juan
    Tamad" on how he stays put and waits for things to come by him. We Filipinos carry these stories
    and values throughout our existence in this world. These stories were passed on from our
    ancestors.

    Growing up, we are taught about the fundamentals in life, how to be respectful and how to
    be fair in every way. We were guided through books, traditions, and stories.
