assessment and para ma check if the conduct is in accordance with the
prescribed competency assessment methodology and procedures.

accomplished Application form and Self- Assessment Guide.

Nag papatunay po ito na that you have already acquired the knowledge and kaya
 niyo ng I-perform ang mga skills required for all the units of competency
enumerated under Automotive Servicing NC I qualification.
Purposed of Assessment Alright, so ngayon naman, I am going to administer the competency assessment
for Automotive Servicing NC I qualification.

Ang purpose ng competency assessment na ito ay para na measure ang level ng

inyong competency, para malaman kung competent po ba or not yet competent.

Unit of competencies and its Ang qualification or units of competencies na I-assessed are Basic, Common, and
tasks Core. Para sa Automotive Servicing NC I core Competencies, meron po tayong:

Perform pre-delivery inspection

Perform periodic maintenance of automotive engine
Perform periodic maintenance of drive train
Perform periodic maintenance of brake system
Perform periodic maintenance of suspension system
Perform periodic maintenance of steering system

Ang tasks po na ipeperform niyo today ay pre-delivery inspection, periodic

maintenance of automotive engine, periodic maintenance of drive train,
periodic maintenance of brake system, periodic maintenance of suspension
system, and periodic maintenance of steering system. Ang mga Evidences will be
collected thru written test, and demonstration with oral questioning.

Assessment procedures Para ma-determine and ma-measure ang inyong knowledge and skills for
Automotive Servicing NC I, Ang assessment methods na gagamitin natin ay
written test and demonstration with oral questioning. Demonstration with oral
questioning for 1 hour.

My role of competency assessing is to gather and collect evidences as basis

assessment results and to test competency

Personal needs and instruction Para sa inyong mga personal na pangangailangan, Ang mga restrooms are located
po sa tabi ng orientation area.

While ang canteen naman po ay nasa may lobby area.

Tandaan lang po natin na during assessment, hindi po kayo pwedeng lumabas ng

assessment premises.
Reasonable adjustments If hindi niyo po maintidihan ang ibinigay na mga instructions, please feel free po
na tawagin ako, dahil willing po ako na I-translate ang language in verbal form or
sa ating local dialect.

If meron po buntis or person with disabilities ngayon dito, bangitin niyo lang po
sa akin para makapag adjust po ako sa inyong mga pangangailangan.

Also, for those who needs medical attention or maintenance para sa

 hypertension, asthma, diabetes and etc. please see to it po na matake niyo ang
medicines on time.

For religion concerns, nirerespeto po namin ang inyong paniniwala at

pananampalataya, just let me know if you need to perform some rituals as part of
your daily activities.
Do ‘s and dont’s If meron po kayong any questions and clarfications before mag start ang
assessment, ay pwede niyo pong itaas ang inyong kamay para po maassisst ko po
kayo sa inyong kailangan.

Pero kapag nag start na po tayo, please refrain from asking questions as they will
no longer be allowed.
Rights and appeal system. In case naman po na meron kayong mga katanungan regarding sa assessment
result, meron po kayong rights na mag appeal.

Pwede niyo pong I-submit ang inyong appela sa TESDA Provincial Office where
the Assessment Center and the Assessor are accredited.
Evaluation System Para naman po sa evaluation system we have Not Yet Competent and Competent
results.

Makukuha niyo po ang competent result if you have perform base on the at least
minimum requirement set by the competency standards.

At para naman po sa not yet competent ay meron po kayong hindi lang na

perform na critical aspect na nakaapekto ng malaki sa entire performance.
Issuance of National Certificate Kapag na-ipasa ninyo ang assessment and you are competent, pwede niyo na
or Certificate of Competency pong makuga ang inyong National Certificate at the Provincial Office five (5)
working days after your application for the issuance of National Certificate.

Reassessment procedures. At kung nakita po natin na Not Yet Competent pa po kayo after the Assessment,
huwag po kayong mag alalala dahil pwede naman po kayong I-reassessed
anytime at your own convenience.

In case lang po na ang reassessment is full qualification, you have to undergo the
whole assessment process.

On the other hand, If makita po natin na Competent naman po sa ibang unit of

competencies, ang reassessment po ay mag focused na lang sa unit of
competencies na nakitaan tayo na NOT YET COMPETENT.

Kapag naman po bumagsak tayo ng mag kasunod na dalawang assessment, kayo

po ay ina-advisean na mag take ng refresher course before applying for
reassessment.

If wala na po kayong mga tanong or clarifications, Ipamamahagi ko na po ang
inyong Specific instruction, pakibasa po ng maigi. If may tanong po ngayon dito,
ngayon niyo na po sana itanong.
Maarti ko po itong itranslate mula english to your local dialect. Kung kailangan
niyo po ng assistance, handa po ako na I-assisst kayo.

Para sa inyong demonstration, kayo po ay required to perform pre-delivery

And para naman sa iyong oral questioning nakakuha ka ng perfect score na 10 out

And sa demonstration mo naman, you are confident in performing the task. Na

perform mo ang pre-delivery inspection satisfactorily. Ang kailangan mo lang
iimprove ay ang iyong movement pacing sa pamamagitan ng quick and precise
movements. Nevertheless, I found you competent for this unit of competency.

Makikisuyo na pirmahan mo ang rating sheet na ito as well as in your

Competency Assessment Result Summary (CARS). The assessment center
manager will sign your CARS and I will give it to you in the holding area.

Pero bago ka bumalik sa holding area, Gusto ko sanang iinform sayo na after 5
working days ay pwede mo ng makuha ang iyong National Certificate. Sa
pagrerequest ng iyong NC, ito ay pwede mo ng makuha sa district provincial
office from Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Fill up-an mo lang ang request form at I-attach ang following: 1. original copy of
your CARS, 2. 1 Passport size picture with white background na may kwelyo ang
damit at 3. 4 documentary stamps. Then fill up-an mo lang ang request for
payment ant maghanda ka lang ng P50.00 para sa National certificate.

Ok, once again congratulations. Pwede ka ng mag proceed sa holding area.

At sa oral questioning naman ay nakakuha ka ng 2 out of 10.
At para naman sa demonstration nakita ko na hindi mo nagawa ng maayos ang
demonstration at lumalabas na nag perform ka ng pre-delivery inspection
unsatisfactorily. Ang kailangan mo iimprove ay ang iyong skills by studying and
more practice.

Kaya para doon, you are not yet competent on this national assessment.

Pero, pwede ka pa naman mag pa re-assessed anytime at your most convenient

 time and para na lang sa unit of competency na nakitaan ka na not yet
competent.

And also if meron kang appeal sa assessment process, pwede ka namang sumulat
ng appeal letter na naka address sa district office within 24 hours.

If you have passed the assessment and you are competent, you can claim your
National Certificate at the Provincial Office five (5) working days after your
application for the issuance of National Certificate.
If found to be Not Yet Competent after the Assessment, you don’t have to worry
about it because you can be reassessed anytime at your own convenience.
In case the reassessment is full qualification, you have to undergo the whole
assessment process.
On the other hand, If found to be Competent in some unit of competencies the
reassessment will just focused on the unit of competencies that you are found to
be NOT YET COMPETENT.
If you fail two (2) consecutive assessment, you are advised to take a refresher
course before applying for reassessment.
During the actual assessment, please observe safety precautions as you perform
the different tasks. In case of accident, please call my attentions immediately so
that proper first aid will be administered. In case you need a first aid, we have a
first aid cabinet located at the practical work area.
With regard on the assessment result, we observe strict confidentiality to uphold
the integrity of the assessment process. The results are available only to
authorized personnel and to the institution where you have your actual training.
In relation to this, the assessment package is placed in the secured place, to
