Welcome to University of Eastern Philippines Laoang Campus our venue for conduct of
National Assessment
My name is Ms. Galero, Mary Jane S., I am your competency assessor in Qualification of
Food and Beverage Services NCIII.
Here is my Identification Card as a proof of my accreditation and letter of appointment
from the Assessment Center.
I would like to acknowledge the presence of Mr.Juan Dela Cruz, our ACAC Manager
and Ms. Aime Romero,our representative from TESDA Provincial Office.
You don’t have to worry about their presence. They are here to oversee and observe
the Conduct Competency Assessment and Procedure. They will not assess you.
Before I start, may I ask to sign you the attendance sheet. Please present to me your
admission slip once your name is called.
I have here with me your accomplish Self-Assessment Guide (SAG).
This is the proof that you know and you can perform that all the units of competencies
Under the Food and Beverage Services NCIII.
Today, I am going to administer the full qualifications of Food and Services NCIII.
This qualification consisti of 6 core competencies namely:
1. Prepare turta Cake
2. Decorate and Present Turta Cake
3. Store Turta Cake
The purpose of National Assessment aims to determine the level of your competency
and for the issuance of National Certificate Level III issued by the TESDA and will serve
as a license for employment with the validity of 5 years. I am going to use
demonstration and oral questioning to assess your underpinning knowledge and
underpinning skill.
There will be two assessment results named competent and not yet competent. If found
to be competent your can get your NC after 5 working days at the TESDA office.
Just bring your with you your Competency Assessment Result Summary (CARS), your
passport size picture with collar and white background and 50 pesos for processing fee.
If you found to be not yet competent, you are qualified for reassessment just go to the
nearest assessment center and schedule your reassessment anytime.
If you are not satisfied with the assessment result you may write a letter of appeal
addressed to the TESDA Provincial Director.
For the allowable adjustment we have CR at the end of the hallway, the cafeteria is
located at the ground floor of the building.
For Do’s and DON’T’s, only I as the assessor, the ACAC Manager of the TESDA
Representative Are allow inside the Assessment venue to ensure the confidentiality of
the assessment process and result. Please observe pre-cautionary measures in
handling tools.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Given the necessary tools, material and equipment you should be able to perform the
following tasks:
1.Prepare Ingredients and equipment for Turta Cake Production
2.Produce Turta Cake Using Proper techniques and Procedure
 3.Store Turta Cake

with allotted time of 4 hours. Right after demonstration please prepare for oral
questioning.
