assessor in ANIMAL PRODCUTION (SWINE) NCII. First I would like to

You do not have to worry about their presence, they are here to
oversee the conduct of assessment and to check if the conduct of
assessment is in accordance with the prescribe competency assessment,
methodology and procedure

I have here with me your accomplished application form and self-
assessment guide. This is an indication that you know and can perform all
the unit of competency enumerated for ANIMAL PRODUCTION (SWINE)
NCII.
I would like to welcome all of you to our center for your assessment
for ANIMAL PRODUCTION (SWINE) NCII.
The purpose of our assessment for ANIMAL PRODUCTION NCII is to
determine the level of your competency.
Today I am going to administer competency assessment for
dressmaking NCII. compose of basic, common and core competency. For
the
CORE
1. 1 Handle breeders
2. Handle farrowing sows and sucklings
3. Raise weanlings
4. Produce finisher
5. Maintain healthy animal environment
6. Apply bio-security measures

The different task to be performed for our ANIMAL PRODCUTION

(SWINE) NC II assessment are the following:
1. Collecting semen
2. Processed boar semen
3. Bred sows and gilts using AI
4. Monitored signs of pregnancy
 5. Performed farrowing-related activities
6. Castration of piglet

I will collect evidences through demonstration and oral questioning.

To determine your knowledge and skills for ANIMAL PRODUCTION
(SWINE) NCII the assessment method we will used will be demonstration
and oral questioning.
This assessment methods can help to measure your underpinning
knowledge and skills.
During the assessment you are not allowed to leave the premises of
the assessment center.
If you have difficulty understanding the given instruction. Do not
hesitate to inform me because I am willing to translate it for you.
If you have concerns, questions or there is a need for you to clarify
matter concerning the assessment, you may raise your hands because I am
more than willing to assist you. But once the assessment has started please
refrain from asking questions it is no longer allowed. But during the
assessment if you have physical or any form of difficulties do not hesitate to
call my attention so that we can address it immediately.

In case you have questions regarding the assessment result you have
the right to appeal. You can submit your appeal to the TESDA provincial
office where the assessment center and the assessor are accredited
For the issuance for the national certificate the AC manager shall
inform you where you can claim your National Certificate within 5 working
days after the assessment.
After the assessment and you are found to be not yet competent don’t
worry about it because you can be reassess anytime, at your own
convenience. In case the reassessment is full qualification you have to
undergo the whole assessment process. If you are found to be competent in
some unit of competency the reassessment shall focus in the unit of
competency where you are found to be not yet competent. Also, if you failed
2 consecutive assessment you will be advise to undergo a refresher course
before applying for re assessment.
During the actual assessment please observe safety as you perform
the different task.
With regards to the result of your assessment, we observe strict
confidentiality. This is to ensure your integrity. The result is only made
available to authorized personnel and to the institution where you have your
actual training. In relation to this, the assessment package is kept in a
secured place to guaranty the integrity of the assessment package. May I
ask all candidate to refrain from giving away any form of information that
took place during the assessment process.
If you don’t have questions or clarifications then I am going to distribute this
specific instruction. Please read them carefully. And do not hesitate to ask
questions.

I believe everybody is prepared. Candidate #1 please proceed to the
assessment area and for the rest of the candidates please remain while I’ll
call you by your number.
Candidate #1 this is our assessment area, where you are going to
perform how to breed sow using artificial insemination. Here is your
instruction for Demonstration. Please read the instructions again. If you
have any questions you may ask now because as soon as the as begins you
can no longer ask any questions.
In that regard you may begin, please be inform that after the
demonstration there will be oral questioning. (Candidate perform task .jobs
required.)

How do you feel about the assessment?
Based on my observation you are very confident on what you have to
do based from the instruction that I have given to you.
Your do not have much errors in …….However I have notice that you
have many erasures on your pattern. And you are not confident in
answering some questions during oral questioning.
But don’t worry, you answers all the questions correctly which shows
that you are knowledgeable enough about Bread and Pastry Production
NCII. And Congratulations you are competent. Please sign the competency
result summary.
 For the issuance of the national certificate the Ac manager will inform
you where to claim your NC after 5 working days. Congratulations.
