MUNICIPAL NUTRITION ACTION OFFICE

ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

I. RATIONALE

The Local Government Unit of Maslog allocated fund for Nutrition programs and
Buntis Congress Activity as specified in the annual plan to implement within this year
with a theme “New Normal na Nutrisyon sama-samang gawan ng solusyon”. This
activity aims to provide education and proper information to all pregnant women and
anyone that maintaining and sustaining a good proper nutrition is important.

II. GENERAL OBJECTIVE

1. Expanding health consciousness and awareness among pregnant women and
their families, the teenage pregnancy in the municipality is hopped to be
reduced.
2. Knowledge on proper nutrition, food preparation and adequate food supply.
3. Introduce the free services offered by the Rural Health Unit, specifically Basic
emergency obstetric and Neonatal Care and Family Planning.

1. 100% attendance of pregnant woman who will gain knowledge and information on
nutrition, safe pregnancy and delivery, and newborn care.
2. Increasing facility based delivery, zero maternal mortality rate, zero infant mortality
rate.
