Prepare a range of scrambled words /sentences (something related to what you've


been teaching in your class works well) that can be put into easy (1 point), medium (2
points) and hard (3 points) categories.
_ Splits the class into groups of around 4 to 6 students and has a student from the first
group choose a category.
_ Once teacher writes the scrambled word on the whiteboard/blackboard the team of
students have around 1 minute to come up with the answer (while the rest of the
class stay silent).
_ Continue the process with the other teams while keeping track of the scores.
Example:
Easy (1 point): bird – drbi/ dog _ dgo
Medium (2 points): frog – rgfo/ myoekn _ monkey

colored piece of chalk and they stand in a line.
_Writes a letter and the first student must write a word beginning with that letter; the
following student writes a word beginning with the last letter of the previous word:
