ELECTRICAL PLANT AND ASSOCIATED

EQUIPMENT
Supply, handle and deliver to site including taxes at

site, duties, insurance, freight loading and storing
complete erection and installation, painting, site
testing, setting to work and attendance during the
running and maintenance period of all plant and
equipment supplied as specified.
MOTOR CONTROL CENTER (MCC) AND

EQUIPMENT
A 400V, 400A, IP54 New MCC-STF2 located at the L.S.
existing pump house of Wash Water Recovery Tank,
floor standing metal cubicle type with type-tested
certification as specified. The MCC shall comprise
the following item as specified in the drawing no.

- Main incoming MCCB
- Outgoing MCCB's complete with all fuses
- Current Transformer (CT)
- Overcurrent and earth fault (OCEF)
protection relays (IDMT)
- Indicating and recording instruments.
- Metering and measuring equipments
- VSD and DOL starters for equipments as specified
complete with all necessary power and control cabling.
- ELCB or Earth Leakage relay for equipment protection
complete with necessary internal wiring works.
- Overloading protection relay for equipments
- Indicating lights, push buttons, panel heaters,
exhaust fans, and etc.
- Internal earthing system complete with wiring.
- Complete internal power / signal / control
wiring in the panel.
- Necessary pumps and motors overload,
protective and control relays, timer and etc.
- M.S channel support with suitable size to mount
MCC on the floor. The support shall be galvanised type.
Provision connection to control/ Supervisory panel
shall be made available into this panel. Rate shall
also to include obtaining calibration certificate for
protection relays and to be endorsed by the qualified
service engineer.

SWA/PVC complete with all control cables as specified
to be laid underground and partially in trench. Rate to
include excavataion and backfilling works, hot dip
galvanised cable tray, cable glands, cable markers,
cable ties, fixing accessories, etc. and termination
works to the boards as specified.

LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEM
Supply, delivery, testing and commission of surge

surge and lightning protection system as per
specification and drawing no.
HLA18/9488/STF-P2/07 and drawing no.
HLA18/9488/STF-P2/NANAS/E/03 complete with air
finial, copper tape 25mm x 3mmfrom terminal to
ground, test clamp, etc. for the Pump Control Room.
Each grounding point shall consist of copper bonded
rods, coupling and exothermic joint. All the points
shall be interconnected with copper tapes and these
copper tapes may be covered with grounding
enhancement material in order to improve the ground
resistance of less than 5 ohm:

C 25mm x 3mm copper conductor. Rate to m 55

include forming groove for copper tape
installation and touching up properly with
cement in order to hide the conductor.

socket outlet, etc. together with solid earthing complete
with copper tape and earth chamber similar to Furse.
B Cabling works from DB-STF2 to the fittings m 135

using 6mm sq 4C PVC/SWA/PVC underground
cable complete with earthing system, trenching,
sand, cable markers, nylon, protective covers,
ducts, cable joints and terminations, accessories,
etc.
C Concrete foundation complete with all necessary bolts, No. 5

PVC conduit for cable entry for Street/ Compound
Lighting as per drawings and Specifications.
D 10m lighting column with single arm complete with base No. 5
plate loop-in loop-out box, slip bases, internal
wires, etc.
E Lighting fittings complete with 1 x 100W LED No. 3

lamps for compound lighting for new road complete with
mounting accessories, control gear, accessories,
SPD, etc as per appropriate.
F Lighting fittings complete with 1 x 80W LED No. 4

lamps for flood lighting for new road complete with,
mounting accessories, control gear, accessories,
SPD, etc as per appropriate.
G 150 mm diameter Class C G.I. pipes not No. 3

exceeding 6m for road crossings encased in
concrete jackets, drain crossings and all other
areas deemed necessary for cables to be in
ducts.

A 150mm Dia. PVC Class D pipes not exceeding No. 8

3 meter in length for cable entry into building.
Rate to include all necessary excavation and
backfill.
B Sealing works to all M&E opening due to L.S.

pipeworks and cable sleeve entry to building,
sleeve in cable trench, services penetrate
through wall and etc. using mastic seal type as
specified.
C Supply and install 400A TPN MCCB at existing No. 1

MSB-STF to accommodate new installation of
MCC-STF2. Rate shall include any necessary
modification works to the existing MCC, internal
wiring works, fittings and etc.
To dismantle existing MCCBs, power cable,

control cables and related works at existing
MCC-STF1 as specified. Rate to include
handing over asset to Pengurusan Air Selangor
Sdn Bhd or disposal of debris off site:

Professional Engineer and framed with glass
panel. The size of frame shall be minimum
1050mm x 750mm.

approxiamately 1200mm wide and 6.5mm
thick. The length shall be equal with length of
switchboard and MCC.
J Supply and install relevant signages for panel L.S.

and room.
