Pre-lesson
1. Stick a ready-made sign on the board . Point to it and say : Turn left . Encourage students to perform the instruction .
2. Ask students to tell teacher what other signs they can find on the streets .
Lesson delivery

ACTIVITIES 3. Direct students’ attention to the pictures on the page and ask them what the children are doing.
4. Point to the first / second / third / fourth / picture and ask students.
5. Make sure students understand that they will make a steet sign, too.
6. Hand out the materials they need .
7. Go around helping students with any difficulties .
Post-lesson
8. Revise the imperative by playing the game Simon says ( TB page 103 ) .
