All risks
The All Risks Insurance (A.R.) is the broadest form of coverage commonly used in
cargo transport insurance. It is used to mean insurance against loss of or damage
to property arising from any fortuitous cause except those that are specifically
excluded. An insurance contract which provides All-Risks Insurance is an All-
Risks policy. Among the Institute Cargo Clauses, the counterpart of A.R. is
Institute Cargo Clauses (A).
