Education is the birthright of every child. There are many reasons why education
is vital for children. It develops wisdom and intelligence which help in being self-
dependent in life. It plays a vital role in the development of personality. It develops
confidence also and helps us to become a responsible citizen of the nation. School is
the foremost fountain of knowledge children are exposed to. It gives a chance for them
to acquire knowledge on various fields of education
Remedial instruction in education is intended to make a remedy on an existing
learning issue that hinders the progress and development of learner's needed
competencies and learning objectives. It tries to improve and remediate the basic skills
deemed necessary amongst students.
The main challenges that the students have encountered are self-studying, poor
internet connection, lack of sleep and time to answer all the modules due to the great
number of activities, distractions, and lack of focus.
As a teacher, with a burning passion to let her pupil learn despite of the
challenges and gaps brought by the pandemic, I am doing remediation sessions
especially to those learners who were identified to be lagged behind our lessons based
on the results of their scores on their learning activity sheets and/or in their summative
assessments.
We visiting them on their respective houses or we are meeting them on their
learning centers in doing the remediation with of course the observance of the minimum
health protocols.
