Answer the following questions:

1. Have you experienced globalization?

 Yes, I have experience globalization in terms of the goods and services. Some goods
are in the higher price today. Unlike before that you can buy some foods that belong
to the lower prices, but today’s generation those products are in higher cost
because of the higher demand on economy. Everything can change because of
globalization.

2. Why is it crucial to emphasize that globalization is uneven?

 It is the most important to emphasize uneven globalization because its unevenness
can cause a lot of problem towards Philippine economy. Since, economic
development and its benefits and disadvantages are distributed unevenly, usually
contributing to distinction of wealth and power that interfere with democratic
institutions operations. We can’t deny the fact that our world today’s lopsided, in
the sense that over population, literacy, industry, cultures, beliefs and tradition,
even the land and its wealth are not evenly distributed. That’s why it is very crucial
to emphasize that globalization is uneven.

3. What is the difference between globalization and globalism?

 In the first place, globalism is characterized by networks of connections that span
multi-continental distance. In contrast globalization refers to the increase or decline
in the degree of globalism. It focuses on the forces, the dynamism or speed of these
changes. In short, globalization is the process by which globalism becomes
increasingly thick and intense.
