Line, this is a point that moves
continuously. And it is the most
basic element of art.

Shape, it is form of an object.

Everything we see in this world
has a shape.

Now let me discuss first about

the lines. We have different
types of line;

Vertical lines- lines that move up

and down without any slant.

Horizontal lines- Position

parallel to the horizon.
Something, such as line, plane,
or object, this is horizontal.

Diagonal lines- lines that slant.

Zigzag lines- lines made from a

combination of a diagonal lines.

Curve Lines- Lines that change

direction gradually.

Now, what is shape?

It is a element of art that is a two

dimensional area that is defined
in some way. A shape may have
an outline around it or you may
recognized it by its area.
We have categories of shape;

The Geometric shape which is

characterized by simple lines or
curved lines, they are shapes that
generally have their own names,
such as square, circle, and oval.

Organic shapes- they do not have

their own name. It is
characterized by being more free
flowing, and natural shapes.
