Evaluation Instrument

Level 1: Participants’ Reactions

The evaluation instrument will be a questionnaire generated electronically through Google


Forms. This feedback will be provided immediately after the instructional technology learning
sessions. The feedback from this questionnaire will help with improving the program and serve
as a guide to making the appropriate changes with designing a program to better serve all
participants.

Questionnaire Questions:
1. How would you rate the time allowed during this professional learning experience?
2. Did you find the professional learning session material practical, intuitive, and helpful?
3. Do you feel the presenter was knowledgeable of the material, prepared and interactive?
4. Did you feel leaving this professional learning experience more knowledgably than you
came?
5. Was the material applicable to what you can use in your classroom?

Level 2: Participants’ Learning

The evaluation instrument used will be a method to integrate a survey and checklist to determine
the participants learning generated through Google Forms. This will help with acquiring the
attendee’s technology level use and what forms of technology are needed. The information
provided from this feedback will help with improving the program content, format, and
organization to enhance all learner’s knowledge.

Level 3: Organizational Support and Change


The evaluation instrument used will be a survey method provided to professional learners
through Google forms which will provide feedback of how the experience promoted changes that
is aligned with the school missions statement and goals.

1. What are your professional goals with the resources from this professional learning?
2. Did the professional learning session provide enough resources to help and was it aligned
with your school mission and goals?
3. Were resources available and accessible for your use?
Level 4: Participants’ Use of New Knowledge and Skills
The evaluation instrument used will be a survey method provided to professional learners
through Google forms which will provide feedback on how the new knowledge and skills that all
participants learned will make a difference in their professional practice and help with
implementation of the program.

1. Did the professional learning of new knowledge provide you with enough resources to
use in your classroom?
2. How will this professional learning help you with integrating technology in your
lesson(s) for your students?

Level 5: Students Learning Outcomes


The evaluation instrument used will be a survey method provided to professional learners
through Google forms which will provide feedback on what impact did it have on students. The
benefits of professional learning will help students achieve academic success on norm type
criterion testing.

1. How did the new strategy impact your students’ performance on (name of test)?
2. Did the new knowledge influence students overall emotional well-being?
3. Did students’ academic overall performance show growth and build confidence with
improving behavior?

Summary

To meet criterion 3 & 4 of this evaluation instrument, my goal is to continuously explore with
instructional technology, so I am knowledgeable about those specific sites. This will allow me to
be one of the lead technology teachers in the building. As I continue to explore and learn more, I
can share more with my colleagues and be the support network with helping my teacher
colleagues grow and learn using instructional technology. I want to continue working with my
administration team and other department leads in the building. As we know, new knowledge
can be overwhelming to learn and apply in any classroom instruction in a short period of time.
Moving forward with professional learning in my school and providing other teachers the
opportunity to voice their glows and grows about these sessions will help dramatically with the
effectiveness of making future decision on how the program should move forward.
