1. Check PO and move products
to inbound area
Key Point: After checking
documentation and doing a quick
quality check, move products to the
receiving area or designated place to
break down pallets.
Why:
4. Enter information in Fulfillment
Tools
KP: Either scan the EAN barcode on the
item using an external scanner or input
the item name, only if it does not have a
barcode printed on it.
KP: Enter quantity and check that the
item shelf location is correct. If not,
update the value in the Location field.
Why:
2. Break down pallet, box,
container
KP: Handle heavy products using
correct lifting technique, Follow two
person handling procedures for items
heavier than 12 kg.
KP: Unwrap or open the box using a
safety knife or by following the
easy-open guidelines on the box.

5. Receive items according to SLA 6. Prepare for Put Away
KP: Time to fully receive chilled and
frozen items: 30 Minutes from the
moment the stock is unloaded from
the truck.
KP: Time to fully receive ambient
Items: 1.5 hr from delivery.

3. Open Fulfillment Tools
KP: On the phone, open the
Fulfillment Tools app, press the three
lines in the top-left corner and open
the Receiving tab.
Why:
KP: Write the location of the item on
the item box or place a sticky note on
it.
KP: Place heavy items in the bottom of
the trolley, move items to location and
start put-away.
Why:
