Learning Outcomes:
LO 1: Layout and install electrical wiring using knobs and tubes method.
LO 2: Layout and install PVC raceways/ moldings.
LO 3: Layout and install rigid non-metallic conduit.
LO 4: Layout and install flexible non-metallic conduit.
LO 5: Assemble fluorescent lighting fixture.
LO 6: Layout and install fluorescent lighting fixtures.
LO 7: Layout and install incandescent lamps.

A. Introduction
This topic covers of seven (7) learning outcomes consists of knowledge, skills and
attitude in installing lighting fixtures and auxiliary outlets. Each learning outcomes contains
learning activities supported by instruction sheet.

C. Assessment Plan
1. Portfolio Assessment. The students should present the following documents.
a. Job sheet 1.1 Installing one bulb controlled by one (SPST) switch in one location using
split knobs.
b. Job sheet 1.2 Installing two bulbs controlled by two (SPST) switch in two location using
split knobs.
c. Job sheet 1.3 Installing one bulb controlled by two three ways switch in two location
using split knobs.
d. Job sheet 2.1 Layout and install PVC raceway/ moldings.
e. Job sheet 3.1 Install rigid non-metallic conduit.
f. Job sheet 4.1 Install conduit and electrical wiring from indoor unit to outdoor unit.
g. Job sheet 5.1 Assembling open type 20 watts fluorescent lamp.
h. Job sheet 6.1 Install three fluorescent controlled by three SPST switch.
i. Job sheet 6.2 Install two fluorescent lamp controlled two three way switch and one SPST
switch using flexible non-metallic conduit.
j. Job sheet 7.1 Installation of the incandescent lamp using the rigid non-metallic conduit.

D. Teachers Self Reflection

The students should understand the uses and functions of different tools and equipment.
Especially when using power tools like heat gun for bending PVC pipes and the uses of the different
switches and outlets. They should understand on how they use the switches for the different wiring
connections. They should be able to perform the proper way of bending PVC pipes. And lastly the
assembling of fluorescent lamp by following the wiring diagram on how to assemble fluorescent lamp.

A. Introduction
This topic consists of three (3) learning outcomes. Each learning outcomes contains learning
activities supported by instruction sheets. Before you perform the instruction read the information
sheet and answers the self check and activities provided to as certain to yourself and your teacher that
you have acquired the knowledge necessary to perform the skill portion of the particular outcomes.

D. Teachers Self Reflection


By performing the project the students will be able to learn on how to install electrical
boxes on finished space. They will be able to understand the function on how to install electrical
boxes on finished surfaces. Like for example the wiring system inside the walls or wood studs
and to understand how they work on finished surfaces. They will also gain ideas on how to install
wiring devices and ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) for the protection of people and
animals inside the house.

A. Introduction
This topic covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required in installing electrical protection
system needed before starting work. Tools are inspected and prepared. Proper must also be done
before commencing work so that lubrication and auxiliary parts are pre enterprise specifications. Pre
storing must be practiced.

a. The students will install service entrance including fuse panel or panel board by following the
procedure on installing fuse or panel board. They are graded based on their assessment
criteria.
D. Teachers Self Reflection
The student will be able to understand on how the wiring of a building starts. They will
understand on how the electricity flow from the main line to the service entrance and down to the
breaker or fuse panel circuit and to the branches of wiring system. They must follow on how to use
the breaker and fuse panel in the proper installation by following the right amperage of the circuit and
the proper wire sizes for the different branches in the house wiring.
