Muhammadshah (aka Muhammad Begada)
In the books of Pirana Satpanth, Nur પીરણા સતપાંથના શાસ્ત્રોમાાં નૂર મોિમ્મદ શાિને
Muhammad Shah is declared as the avatar of હવષ્ણુનો અવતાર ઉફે હનષ્કલાંકી નારાયણ
Vishnu alias Nishkalanki Narayan. બતાવવામાાં આવ્યા છે.
9 ● Around: 1491 During Imam Shah's lifetime Satpanth was ઈમામશાિના જીવન કાળમાાં જ સતપાંથ ધમમને
● GVS: 1547 declared as Muslim and thus Satpanthis were મુસલમાન ધમમ જાિેર કરવામાાં આવેલ અને તેના

10 ● Around: 1500 Imamshah met Maharao (King) Bharmalji of
● GVS: 1556 Kutch;
1) With offer to bring in highly talented and
skilful farmers to Kutch, who were in great
need for the kingdom.
2) King gave KKP leaders (gedhera) powers like
Police Patel and Darbari Patel. Whatever said
by Gedheras was final.
3) King of Kutch never interfered in affairs of
KKP community.
4) Any disputes within community would not
go to local courts. If need arose disputes
would be solved by Maharao personally.
Note: By keeping normal courts out of reach
of KKP community, (like in case of Sharia), the
community remained at the mercy of Gedheras
and hence it was easy to control / quash
rebellion against Satpanth. Nobody could dare
to go against Satpanth.
11 ● 25-Nov-1513 Imamshah died on Hijri 919, 25th Ramzan
● GVS: 1570 Kartak Vad 3 (Islamic Calendar). The Gregorian date
● Tuesday (international calendar) recorded by various
sources as either 1513 or 1520. But most
instances are of 1513 and matches with Hijri
date.
12 ● Around: 08-Nov-1535 Peak of migration of Satpanthi Kadva Patidars
● GVS: 1592 Kartak Sudh 2 from Gujarat to Kutch, which started during
● Friday Imamshah's time, reached its peak.
Effect:
1) Got separated from Hinduism
2) Got separated from Umiya Mataji, Unjha,
the centre of its community.
3) Unknowingly, started to tread the path
of clandestine and slow religious conversion
from Hindu to Islam / Muslim.
13 ● Around: 1626 First settlements were in Sikra village, near
● GVS: 1682 Bhachau, Kutch. Soon Sikra village became the
headquarters. Later on as the time progressed,
with the help of Maharao of Kutch, the KKP
community started settling in small villages
deep inside Kutch.
- The identity of "Kutch Kadva Patidar" (KKP)
community got established.

ઈમામશાિ કચ્છના મિારાવ ભારમલજીને મળ્યા
અને;
૧) કુ શળ અને ગુણવાન ખેડૂતોને કચ્છમાાં લાવવાનો
પ્રસ્તાવ આપ્યો, જેની કચ્છ રાજ્યને સખત જરૂરત િતી.
૨) રાજાએ કણબી ગેઢેરાઓ (જ્ઞાહતના આગેવાનો)ને
પોલીસ પટે લ તેમજ દરબારી પટે લ જેવી હવશેષ
સત્તાઓ આપી. ગેઢેરાના મોઢે થી જે નીકળ્યુાં એ સવેને
પાળવુાં પડતુાં.
૩) કચ્છના રાજાએ ક. ક. પા. જ્ઞાહતમાાં કોઈ હદવસ
દાખલ હગહર કરી નિીાં.
૪) કડવા પાટીદાર જ્ઞાહતના આાંતહરક મામલાઓ
કોઈ હદવસ સ્થાહનક કોટમ માાં જતા નિીાં, પણ જરૂર
પડે મિારાવ સ્વયાં હનવારણ લાવતા.
નોાંધ: કણબી જ્ઞાહતને સામાન્ય કોટોથી જુ દા રાખીને
(શરીયાની જેમ), જ્ઞાહત ગેઢેરાઓની અબાહધત
સત્તાની ઉપર હનભમર રિેવા લાગી. જેના કારણે
જ્ઞાહતમાાં સતપાંથ સામે બળવો / હવદ્રોિ પોકારનાર
ઉપર ગેઢેરાઓ માટે હનયાંત્રણ રાખવુાં સિેલુાં બન્યુાં.
સતપાંથની સામે કોઇની બોલવાની હિાં મત ના ચાલતી.
ઈમામશાિનુાં મૃત્યુ ઇસ્લામી પાંચાાંગ પ્રમાણે હિજરી
૯૧૯ રમજાન ૨૫ના થયુાં. દસ્તાવેજોમાાં આાંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય
વષમ ૧૫૧૩ અથવા ૧૫૨૦ એમ ઉલ્લેખ મળે છે. પણ
વધારે પડતાાં વષમ ૧૫૧૩નો ઉલ્લેખ મળે છે અને
હિજરી તારીખ પ્રમાણે સુસાંગત છે.
ઈમામશાિના કાળમાાં શરૂ થયેલ, ગુજરાતથી કચ્છ
તરફ કડવા પાટીદારોનુાં થયેલ સ્થળાાંતર, ચરમ
સીમાએ પિોાંચ્યુાં.
અસર:
૧) તહન્દુ ધમમ િી જુ દા પડ્યા
૨) પોિાની જ્ઞાતિ એટલે કે ન્રમાાં રહે લ ઉતમયા
માિાજી ઊાંઝા િી જુ દા પડ્યા
૩) અજાણિામાાં, છુપા અને સૌમ્ય રીિે ધમમ
પતરવિમન કરી તહન્દુ માાં િી મુસલમાન બનાવવાના
રસ્િા પર ચાલી પડ્યા.
ભચાઉની બાજુ માાં આવેલ હસકરા ગામમાાં મુખ્ ય મથક
બનાવ્યા બાદ, કચ્છના મિારાવની મદદથી કચ્છના
આાંતહરક પ્રદે શોના નાના-નાના ગામડાઓમાાં
વસાવવા લાગા.
- કચ્છ કડવા પાટીદાર (ક. ક. પા.) જ્ઞાહત તરીકે
ઓળખ ઊભી થઈ.

15 ● 1758 Hindu Marathas came to power in Gujarat after હિન્દુ મરાઠા સામ્રાજ્યની સત્તા ગુજરાત પર.
● GVS: 1814 winning Ahmedabad. End of Muslim Rule.
16 ● 02-Apr-1768 Birth of Kesara Parmeshwara

17 ● 19-Jan-1776 Under the guidance and supervision of Pragji
● GVS: 1832 Posh Vad 13 Kaka, the then head Kaka of Pirana and Sayyed
● Friday Vali Miya, decision was taken by KKP
community to;
1) Ban all auspicious rituals including marriage
(Vedic) rituals and inauspicious rituals like
death (Agni sanskar) rituals that were then
performed as per Hindu customs.
2) Ban Genealogists (Vahivancha and Barots)
and
3) Introduced Islamic rituals of marriage
(Nikah) and burial (Dafan).
4) Further asked all KKP members to stop
following Brahmins.
Note: By this decision they attempted to cut
the Hindu roots of the KKP community
18 ● 26-Mar-1805 Keshara Mukhi and Natha Mukhi came in
● GVS: 1861 Fagan Vad 11 contact with two Swaminarayan Sants, Sant
● Tuesday Muktanandji and Sant Swarupanandji, who
were on visit of their carpenter neighbour's
house in Netra Village.
19 ● 28-Feb-1809 Keshara Mukhi and Natha Mukhi got Kanthi
● GVS: 1865 Fagan Sudh 13 tied at the hands of Bhagwan Swaminarayan.
● Tuesday Thus, marking the start of Sanatan Hindu
religion in the community.
20 ● Around: 1816 Due to the decision taken on 19-Jan-1776

ક.ક.પા. જ્ઞાહત ભહવષ્યમાાં મુસલમાન ના બની જાય
એના માટે ગામ હસકરામાાં હવશ્રામ બાપા નાકરાણીએ
પોતાના અાંહતમ સમયે જ્ઞાહત પાસેથી ૨ (બે) વચનો
લીધા િતાાં. કે ..
જ્ઞાતિ કોઈ તદવસ;
૧) ગોકુ ળ અષ્ટમી મનાવવાનુાં બાંધ નહીાં કર ે, અને
૨) માાંસાહાર નહીાં કર ે
મુસલમાન રાજનો અાંત.
કે શરા પરમેશ્વરાનો જન્મ
પીરાણાના મુખ્ ય કાકા પ્રાગજી કાકા અને સૈયદ
વહલહમયાની આગેવાની િેઠળ નખત્રાણામાાં ત્રણે
પાાંચાડાની જ્ઞાત ભેગી થઈ અને હનણમય લેવામાાં
આવ્યો કે િવે પછી;
૧) લગ્ન અને મરણના કમો હિન્દુ હવધી પ્રમાણે
બ્રાહ્મણોના િાથે કરાવવા નિીાં.
૨) તેમજ બારોટ અને વિીવાંચા પાસે પોતાના
કુ ટુાંબની વાંશાવલી લખાવવી નિીાં.
૩) હનકાિ પદ્ધહતથી લગ્ન અને દફન હવહધ શરૂ
કરવામાાં આવી.
૪) તેવી જ રીતે બધાજ બ્રાહ્મણોનો બહિષ્કાર કરવો,
એવા ઠરાવો કરવામાાં આવ્યા.
નોાંધ: આ તનણમયિી ક. ક. પા. જ્ઞાતિના તહન્દુ
મૂતળયાાં કાપી નાખવાના પ્રયત્નો કરવામાાં આવ્યા.
નેત્રા ગામના એક સુથારના ઘરે સ્વામીનારાયણ
સાંપ્રદાયના બે સાંતો મુક્તાનાંદજી અને
સ્વરૂપાનાંદજીનો સાંપકમ કે શરા મુખી અને તેમના નાના
ભાઈ નાથા મુખી સાથે થયો
કે શરા મુખીએ તેમના ભાઈ સાથે ભગવાન શ્રી
સ્વાહમનારાયણના િસ્તે કાં ઠી પિેરીને જ્ઞાહતમાાં સૌ
પ્રથમ સનાતન ધમમની પુનઃ શરૂઆત કરી
હદનાાંક ૧૯-જાન્યુઆરી-૧૭૭૬ના પ્રાગજી કાકા અને
સૈયદ વહલહમયા દ્વારા લેવડાવવામાાં આવેલ હનણમયના
કારણે કચ્છ કડવા પાટીદારની હિન્દુ ઓળખ ધીરે-
ધીરે સમાપ્ત થઈ ગઈ અને મુમના તરીકે ઓળખાણ
ઊભી થઈ.

"કુ મીઓ ક્ષહત્રય છે" - ઉત્તર પ્રદે શના મીરજાપુર
હજલ્લાના અાંતગમત અાંતચૂનારની પાસે ભરિેટા
ગામમાાં કુ મી જ્ઞાહતનુાં એક હવશાળ સાંમેલનમાાં આ
હનણમય લેવામાાં આવ્યો.
નારાયણ રામજી અને અન્ય ૬ વ્યહક્તઓએ દે િ શુહદ્ધ
કરાવીને જનોઈ ધારણ કરી.
દે િ શુહદ્ધ પછી તરતજ "સ્વધમમ વધમક અને જ્ઞાહત
હિતહચાંતક માંડળ" ની રચના ઘાટકોપરમાાં કરવામાાં
આવી. આ માંડળને "જ્ઞાહત હિતહચાંતક સ્વધમમ વધમક
માંડળ" પણ કિેવામાાં આવે છે. આ માંડળ માત્ર
દે િશુહદ્ધ કરાવેલ ભાઈઓનુાં િતુાં.
ગુજરાતી હવક્રમ સાંવત ૧૯૭૧માાં (એટલે તા. ૨૦-
ઓકટોબર-૧૯૧૪ અને ૦૨-ફે બ્રુઆરી-૧૯૧૫ વચ્ચે)
ચાદર હવહધ કરીને સાંત લાલરામ મિારાજને ગાદી પર
બેસાડવામાાં આવ્યા.

૧૨ વષમમાાં એક વખત (ઉનાળામાાં) જ લેવાતાાં.
આ વખતે પિેલી વાર અમુક લગ્નો હિન્દુ રીત હરવાજ
પ્રમાણે કરવામાાં આવ્યા. સતપાંથ / ઇસ્લાહમક રીત

આગમન. પિેલી વાર સાંત ઓધવરામ બાપાનો ભેટો
રતનશી ખીમજી સાથે થયો. સનાતનીઓ અલ્પ-
સાંખ્ યામાાં િોવાના કારણે, ઓધવરામ મિારાજે
સતપાંથીઓના હદલ જીતીને તેમનુાં હિન્દુ ધમમમાાં

બનાવવાની રણનીહતઓ હવષે મતભેદ જાિેરમાાં
આવ્યો.
નારાયણ રામજી અને રતનશી ખીમજી બાંને મળીને
જે સતપાંથને લઈને જ્ઞાહત સુધારનુાં કામ કરતા િતા,
એમાાં ઇહચ્છત પહરણામ ના મળતાાં, આ સમય
ગાળામાાં, સાંત ઓધવરામ મિારાજની સલાિ પ્રમાણે,
શ્રી રતનશી ખીમજી ખેતાણીની આગેવાનીમાાં
જ્ઞાહતમાાં િાલ પ્રચહલત ઇષ્ટ્દે વ લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ
પરાં પરાને દાખવાલ કરવાનો રસ્તો અપણવામાાં

પોલ અને સત્યનો પ્રકાશ પુસ્તક પ્રકાહશત કરવામાાં
આવ્યુાં. (૧૪-માચમ-૧૯૨૬ થી પિેલાાં)
કરાચી યુવક માંડળના પુનગમઠન માટે ની સભા
ભરવામાાં આવી.
૧) બોરડી ટીાંબા (કે શવપુરા) કાં પામાાં સમસ્ત ક. ક. પા.
જ્ઞાહતના પિેલા લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ માંહદરની પ્રાણ પ્રહતષ્ઠા
રતનશી ખીમજી ખેતાણીની આગેવાનીમાાં કરવામાાં
આવી.
૨) મૂળમાાં ભગવાન લક્ષ્મીનારાયણની "પાન મૂહતમ"
અથવા "છબી" તા. ૦૭-સપ્ટે મ્ બર-૧૯૨૮ના હવરાણી
મોટીના માંહદરની પ્રાણ પ્રહતષ્ઠા માટે તૈયાર કરેલ િતી.
પણ હવવાદ થવાના કારણે કામ અટકી ગયુાં અને એ
પાન મૂહતમઓ બોરડી ટીાંબાના લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ
માંહદરમાાં મૂકવામાાં આવી.
૩) આ ઘટના પછી, કચ્છ તેમજ કચ્છ બિાર વસતા
ક. ક. પા. જ્ઞાહત જનો દ્વારા લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ માંહદર
બાાંધવાનો પ્રવાિ શરૂ થયો.
૪) આના થી જ્ઞાહતમાાં ધાહમમક સુધારાની પિેલ થઈ.
ત્યાર બાદના આગામી ૬ થી ૭ દાયકાઓમાાં લગભગ
ક. ક. પા. જ્ઞાહતના કચ્છના તમામ ગામો તેમજ
માંહદરો ઊભા થયાાં.
કચ્છ ખાતે ક. ક. પા. જ્ઞાહતનુાં પિેલુાં લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ
માંહદરની પ્રહતષ્ઠા ગામ હવરાણી મોટીમાાં રતનશી
ખીમજી ખેતાણીની આગેવાનીમાાં કરવામાાં આવી
રતનશી ખીમજી ખેતાણી અને અન્ય લોકોએ ક. ક.
પા. જ્ઞાહત સાથે (એટલે કે જે લોકો સનાતની થઈ ગયા
િોય પણ દે િ શુહદ્ધ ન કરવી િોય - તેવા લોકો સાથે)
ખાવા પીવાનો વ્યવિાર શરૂ કયો. પ્રસાંગ - હવરાણી
મોટી લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ માંહદરની પ્રહતષ્ઠાના હદવસે.

Samaj"

legally registered as "Shree Kutch Kadva
Patidar Samaj".
3) Later, on 24-Aug-1994, this Samaj was
renamed as "Shri Akhil Bharatiya Kutch Kadva
Patidar Samaj".
59 ● Around: 1938 - Formation of this "Shree Kutch Kadva Patidar
● GVS: 1994 Sanatani Samaj" gave rise to a momentum of
Formation of several Samajs at local
village/city levels, which turned out to be a
major step in institutionalizing the KKP
community.

were setup in those villages and cities.
- Today almost all such Samajs throughout
India as well as abroad are members of ABKKP
Samaj.

નખત્રાણા નવાવાસમાાં લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ માંહદરની
પ્રહતષ્ઠા
સતપાંથ ધમમથી છૂટા પડેલા સનાતનીઓએ દ્વારા
પોિાની (સનાિનીઓ માટે ) માિૃ/કે ન્ર સમાજ
ઊભી કરી.
૧) સ્થાપના વખતે તેનુાં નામ િતુાં "શ્રી કચ્છ કડવા
પાટીદાર સનાતની સમાજ" િતુાં.
૨) ત્યાર બાદ તા. ૧૦-મે-૧૯૬૦માાં એ સમાજને
કાયદાકીય રીતે "શ્રી કચ્છ કડવા પાટીદાર સમાજ" ના
નામથી રહજસ્ટર કરવામાાં આવી.
૩) ત્યાર બાદ તા. ૨૪-ઓગસ્ટ-૧૯૯૪ના આ સમાજનુાં
નામ "શ્રી અહખલ ભારતીય કચ્છ કડવા પાટીદાર
સમાજ" રાખવામાાં આવ્યુાં.
- "શ્રી કચ્છ કડવા પાટીદાર સનાતની સમાજ"ની
સ્થાપના, જ્ઞાહતમાાં સમાજ વ્યવસ્થા હનહમમત થવા
પાછળ કારણભૂત થઈ. આવનાર સમયમાાં દરેક ગામ
અને હવસ્તારમાાં જ્ઞાહત જનોને સાંગહઠત કરવા માટે
"સમાજ વ્યવસ્થા" ઊભી થઈ, જેનાથી જ્ઞાહત
પદ્ધહતસર સાંસ્થાના મધ્યમથી સાંગહઠત થઈ.
- તેવીજ રીતે ગામોગામ યુવક માંડળો અને મહિલા
માંડળોની રચનાઓ કરવામાાં આવી.
- આજે ભારત તેમજ હવદે શની લગભગ દરેક ક. ક. પા
સનાતની જ્ઞાહતની સમાજો કે ન્દ્રીય સમાજની સભ્ય
બની ગઈ છે.

વાાંઢાયમાાં બોલાવેલ સનાતની પ્રહતહનહધઓની જાિેર
સભામાાં એવો હનણમય લેવામાાં આવ્યો કે
સનાતનીઓએ લગ્ન અને મરણ હવહધઓ જે સતપાંથ
ધમમ પ્રમાણે કરવામાાં આવતી િતી, તેના બદલે િવે
પછી હિન્દુ રીત હરવાજો પ્રમાણે હવદ્વાન બ્રાહ્મણોના
િાથે કરાવવી.

યુવસાંઘની સ્થાપના વખતના મુખ્ ય ૫ (પાાંચ)
ઉદ્દેશોમાાંનો એક ઉદ્દેશ િતો જ્ઞાહતને સતપાંથમાાંથી
સાંપૂણમ રીતે છોડાવા માટે સનાતન ધમમની પ્રચાર
પ્રસાર કરવો. પરાં તુ એકતા સાંપ સાંગઠન જેવી ભ્રામક
તાકીયાની રમતમાાં ફસાઈ સાંઘ આ મૂળ ઉદ્દેશ ભૂલી
ગયેલ.
એ મૂળ ઉદ્દેશને ફરીથી ઉજાગર કરવા અને યુવાનો
માટે ધમમ બાબતે ચોખવટ કરતો અને સનાતન ધમમને
આદે શ આપવામાાં આવ્યો.
લક્ષ્મીનારાયણ કે ન્દ્ર સ્થાન (સાંસ્કાર ધામ) દે સલપર
(વાાંઢાય)નુાં ઉદઘાટન. મૂહતમની પ્રાણ પ્રહતષ્ઠા તા. ૧૧-
માચમ-૨૦૧૧ ના કરવામાાં આવી.

2) Judgement asked Satpanthis to leave
Satpanth and join mainstream Sanatani Samaj.
Note: This judgement gives clear message
that Satpanth religion is not acceptable in
Kadva Patidar community and that Kadva
Patidars should leave Satpanth religion.
૧) ઉહમયા માતાજી સાંસ્થાન ઊાંઝા દ્વારા હનમયેલ
લવાદપાંચ દ્વારા સતપાંથ હવવાદ અાંગે ઐહતિાહસક
ચુકાદો આપવામાાં આવ્યો.
૨) જેમાાં સતપાંથીઓને સતપાંથ ધમમ ત્યાગી મુખ્ ય ધારા
એટલે સનાતની સમાજમાાં ભળી જવાનો આદે શ
આપેલ છે.
નોાંધ: આ ચુકાદો દ્વારા ચોખ્ખો સાંદેશ આપવામાાં
આવ્યો છે કે સિપાંિ ધમમ કડવા પાટીદાર જ્ઞાતિ
માટે પાળવા લાયક નિી. અને કડવા પાટીદારોએ
સિપાંિ ધમમ ત્યાગી દે વો જોઈએ.

KKP Sanatan community whereby it was
decided that from now onwards Sanatan
Samaj will cut all social and religious ties with
Satpanth Samaj. No new marital relations with
Satpanthis either.
Note: These resolutions are passed to
ensure that in future, no problems relating
to Satpanth, arise in the KKP community.

ઊાંઝાના ચુકાદાનુાં પાલન કરવાની પ્રહક્રયાને આગળ
ધપાવતાાં, ક. ક. પા. સનાતન જ્ઞાહત દ્વારા હવશેષ સભા
બોલાવવામાાં આવી જેમાાં સતપાંથીઓ સાથે તમામ
સામાહજક અને ધાહમમક વ્યવિાર કાપી નાખવાના
ઠરાવો કરવામાાં આવ્યો. તેમજ નવા લગ્ન સાંબાંધો
(સગપણો) ના કરવાનો ઠરાવ પણ કરવામાાં આવ્યો.
નોાંધ: ભતવષ્યમાાં સિપાંિના કારણે જ્ઞાતિમાાં
સમસ્યા ઉત્પન્ન ના િાય એના માટે આ ઠરાવો
પસાર કરવામાાં આવેલ છે .

115 ● 16-Aug-2019 - “Maa Uma no Aadesh Satpanth Chhodo,” - "મા ઉમાનો આદે શ સતપાંથ છોડો" પુસ્તક જેણે
