Problem Solving. Solve the following problems neatly. Erasure is not allowed.
1. The men looked at you to check if you were serious. You were planning to build a house, and the land needed clearing up. In a couple of hours, they had cut down
what had stood there for decades. After paying the woodcutters off, you went to check if everything was in order. You were satisfied. With all the tree stumps
finally, construction could start. Then you noticed something strange. All along the boundary walls, you saw the electrical plans.
A factory space of 33 m x 13 m is to be illuminated with an average illumination of 72 lux by 200-W lamps. The coefficient of utilization is 0.4 and the depreciation
factor is 1.4. Calculate the number of lamps required. The lumen output of a 200-W lamp is 2,730 lm.

2. Karding and you laughed. He was talking and said he led constructing a temporary office 4' by 8' by 3'. Then the work was done on lighting and outlets. He spent
more than Php 100,00.00 for 7 days. He brought 3 electricians with him. He doesn't know that you are an electrical works estimator. Verify the schedule of loads, his
estimates on electrical works, cost estimation and explain what you can suggest for his costing. Total length for 3.5mm 2 is 100m. The contract is only Php 100,00.00.
Explain your answer.
