person values and respects
themselves.

relationships with others.

A person with a healthy personality and an
ideal Filipino citizen has a high level of self-
awareness. A positive self-concept enables
them to acknowledge their strengths and
accept their limitations.
Confidence
A positive self-concept is crucial in building
confidence because it helps a person trust
their instincts and make decisions that align
with their values.
Resilience
A positive self-concept helps a person
develop resilience because it enables them to
see setbacks as temporary and not a
reflection of their self-worth.
