Do you have any question with regards to our trade terms?

11. Lesson Proper

Occupational safety and health (OSH) is a planned
system of working to prevent illness and injury where you
work by recognizing and identifying hazards and risks.
Health and
safety procedure is the responsibility of all persons in the
computer and technology industries. You must identify the
hazards where you are working and decide how dangerous
they are. Eliminate the hazard or modify the risk that it
presents.

12. Activity
Group students into 3. Let them list OSH applied in (Students are doing the activity given)

- Now we will have an activity. The same group you
have on our drill a while ago. I want you to list the three
steps used to manage health and safety at work. -Yes, there are similarities, just like Having a Clean and

the different workplace mentioned? different chemicals being used.
- Some of the differences is that a computer laboratory has
lots of computer where we are more exposed on hazards
2. What are those similarities/differences mentioned? just like electric shock hazard, radiation exposure and
many more.

14. Abstraction
- The teacher deepens the discussion and ask the -The importance of identifying OSH is to eliminate or

procedures will help me become productive day by day
and above all safe from all dangers that will come my
way.
