The researcher constructs this study to determine the cause of having Discrimination against gender and
its effect to their well-being. In our increasing population here in the Philippines, it can already be seen
how many people has a job that might be experiencing discrimination at work. This study will explain
how often this kind of causes may occur in real life. This can also be served as awareness in case people
are about to enter the work industry where they are about to face different set of people. The purpose
of this study will help the worker to avoid being one of it. In the chapter 4 of this research, the survey is
showed that in the questionnaire that was made happens to have that in question number 4, 9 put of 10
claims that they experience stress inside their workplace, 2 have lost their self-confidence, 2 has been
losing focus in their task, and 1 said that it has a big impact to its mental health. Discrimination in gender
is sometimes the reason of conflict inside the workplace. In this study, the importance is shown, that this
can be a reminder to everyone about the statistic of people who has experience answering the
questionnaire.
Research instrument

In order to gather information and the cause and the effect why the victim of discrimination is
continuously increasing, the researcher distributed a questionnaire to an unknown personality. The
questionnaire was made using the mixed method procedure. Mixing data sets can give a better
understanding of the problem and yield more complete evidence – the investigator gains both depth and
breadth. According to De Silva, T.A. Adopting mixed methods research involves costs to the researcher
and the research, including the extra time and energy needed to collect, analyze, interpret, integrate and
write up the data, and the need to consider potential biases and trade‐offs affecting design choices.

Statistical

Descriptive Analysis is the type of analysis of data that helps describe, show or summarize data points in
a constructive way such that patterns might emerge that fulfill every condition of the data. It is one of
the most important steps for conducting statistical data analysis. It gives you a conclusion of the
distribution of your data, helps you detect typos and outliers, and enables you to identify similarities
among variables, thus making you ready for conducting further statistical analyses.
