Au cœur de la terre impitoyable d'Unther, où le


soleil frappe impitoyablement le paysage désolé,
existait un petit village appelé Gorthok. Dans ce
village, au milieu de l'atmosphère oppressante et
de la menace toujours imminente de la tyrannie,
naquit un demi-orque nommé Grum.

La naissance de Grum fut accueillie avec


scepticisme et dédain par les villageois
superstitieux qui croyaient que son héritage mixte
était un mauvais présage. Néanmoins, les parents
de Grum, des agriculteurs humbles, l'ont élevé
avec amour et un sens féroce de la justice.

Dès son plus jeune âge, Grum ressentit une


connexion avec le divin, en particulier avec le dieu
Hoar, le déité de la rétribution et de la justice
poétique. Les murmures de Hoar guidèrent Grum
sur son chemin, et à mesure qu'il grandissait, il
trouvait réconfort et force dans les enseignements
du dieu vengeur.

La vie à Gorthok était loin d'être facile. Le village


souffrait sous le règne oppressif d'un seigneur de
guerre corrompu nommé Vornak, qui extorquait
les récoltes durement gagnées et les ressources
des villageois en difficulté. Les parents de Grum
ont été victimes de la cruauté de Vornak, leur
ferme confisquée et leur vie brisée.

Animé par le désir inébranlable de justice, Grum


prit le manteau d'un paladin, jurant de protéger les
innocents et d'apporter la rétribution à ceux qui
s'attaquaient aux faibles. L'influence de Hoar
guidait sa lame, et Grum devint un phare d'espoir

Une nuit fatidique, alors que Grum patrouillait à la


périphérie de Gorthok, il tomba sur un complot
sinistre orchestré par Vornak et ses sbires. Ils
planifiaient un massacre pour étouffer toute
