Subject: Update on Project and Expedition Request

Dear Cathy,

Thank you for choosing us as the construction company to spearhead the renovation of the Foundation
Headquarters. We have completed the first stage of the renovations 3D plans, which also includes your
office space. I'm sure once you get to see it, you won't be disappointed. I'm also writing back as regards
your request to expedite the renovation project by two months.

During construction, the weather and time for concrete strengthening are two variables that are essential
to determining the success, quality and duration of a project. But, unfortunately, both can't be fully
controlled. And as we are presently in Spring, Rainfall is far more commonly seen; hence the time it
would usually take for Concrete to cure (dry up) entirely takes far longer than the usual 28 days, which
we considered before setting the project delivery date.

Also, because of government-imposed Covid-19 regulations on the number of workers on a construction

site, we can't add more skilled labourers to the project to speed it up. Moreover, even if these restrictions
were lifted, we wouldn't be able to move more subcontractors or skilled labourers to this project because
we have made commitments with other clients for their projects.

Although I greatly admire your foundation's work in helping the youths of this province, speeding up the
project by two months will not be feasible. As the situation is of utmost importance, I would recommend
that you employ the services of Stemi Construction Company. They are an excellent firm with which we
have collaborated on projects severally in the past, and their portfolio speaks for itself. If you don't mind,
I can put in a word for you, which can get you a discounted price for their services.

Thank you once again for the opportunity you offered us; I hope you consider our construction company
for any future projects you would like to embark upon.
