BASIC
PROPORTIONS
FOR THE FINAL
PROJECT
In this document you’ll find the amounts of raw material that you’ll need for the
final project’s mix. Since you already got some practice in the first exercise, it’ll be
easier to figure out the exact measurements. Remember that the mix should be
homogeneous.

BASIC PROPORTIONS FOR THE FINAL PROJECT:

• 4 L portland cement
• 3 L silica sand or sifted river sand
• 1 L Pegaduro sealer
• 4 hands full of polypropylene fiber
• 2 L of water, taking the climate and desired texture into account

BASIC TOOLS FOR MIXING:

• Plastic box or bucket
• Regular spoon or one for masonry
• Clean reusable liter jars
• Funnel for pouring the mix

INSTRUCTIONS:
• With a liter jar, pour the cement and sand and mix it dry using a spoon.
Once the mix is homogeneous, add the Pegaduro sealer, keep mixing
and slowly add the water. At the end, add the polypropylene fiber.
• Remember that using as little water as possible is best, which is why we
recommend going slowly, until you reach a half a liter. If you need more
to put it in your mold easily, do it as little as possible.
