II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

LIGAYA is a values formation and moral recovery project founded by the students of Mapua University.
This project aims to shape youth’s understanding and behavior towards social awareness, social influence,
social ethics, social values, social attitudes, and social lifestyle.

III. PROJECT RATIONALE

Nowadays, most of youth exposed their selves to vices. The have also become unruly, troublemaker, and
chaotic citizens of the community. To help parents contain and discipline their children without any
violence education is a must. LIGAYA, a much-needed project, redirects the youth to proper behavior and
lifestyle by giving the youth proper education on morals and ethics.

IV. PROJECT BENEFICIARIES

This project would significantly change and shape positive lifestyle and behavior to the youth of Barangay
Maharlika, if they take the event seriously, and apply their learnings from this project. The ultimate
outcome of this project is to guide and create a responsive youth in the community and nation eventually.

V. PROJECT OBJECTIVES

• To provide a seminar for the youth centered on moral restoration and values formation
• To serve the youth through teaching
• To improve the youth’s personal development
