Câu bị động với 2 tân ngữ

Nhiều độ ng từ trong tiếng Anh có thể đượ c theo sau bở i hai tân ngữ (chỉ ngườ i và chỉ vậ t) ở dạ ng
thứ c: “V + someone + something”.

Đặ c biệt các câu này có thể đượ c chuyển sang dạ ng bị độ ng (passive voice) theo hai cách khác nhau,
bằ ng việc đưa từ tân ngữ ra đầ u câu làm chủ ngữ .

Ví dụ:

My mother gave me a new shirt on my birthday. (Mẹ tặng tôi một chiếc áo mới trong ngày sinh
Give (cho, tặng) ⟶ I was given a new shirt by my mother on my birthday.
⟶ A new shirt was given to me by my mother on my birthday.

Minh told Lan the truth. (Minh nói với Lan sự thật)
Tell (Nói) ⟶ Lan was told the truth by Minh.
⟶ The truth was told to Lan by Minh.

The salesman is showing the customers the new apartment. (Anh ấy đang giới thiệu với khách h
Show (cho xem) ⟶ The customers are being shown the new apartment by the salesman.
⟶ The apartment is being shown to the customers by the salesman.

He bought a new blue hat for me.. (Anh mua cho tôi cái mũ mới)
Buy (mua) ⟶ This new blue hat was bought for me.
⟶ I was bought a new blue hat.

2. Câu bị động với V + V-ing

Dạ ng chủ độ ng: V + somebody + V-ing
⟶ Dạ ng bị độ ng: V +somebody/something + being + V(P2)

Động từ áp dụng: love, like, dislike, enjoy, fancy, hate, imagine, admit, involve, deny, avoid, regret,
mind….etc

I don’t mind you opening the window. (Tôi không ngại việc bạn mở cửa sổ đâu)
⟶ I don’t mind the window being opened.

3. Câu bị động với động từ tri giác

Vớ i các động từ tri giác (verb of perception) như see, watch, notice, hear, look…

Dạ ng chủ độ ng: S + V + somebody + V-ing/to V-inf

⟶ Dạ ng bị độ ng: S + to be + V(P2) + V-ing/to V-inf

Ví dụ:

Someone saw her running out of the house. (Ai đó đã nhìn thấy cô ấy chạy khỏi nhà.)
⟶ She was seen running out of the house.

I noticed them come and leave in just 10 min. (Tôi để ý họ đến và đi trong 10 phút)
⟶ They were noticed to come and leave in just 10 min

4. Câu bị động “kép”

People/they + think/say/suppose/believe/consider/report…..+ that + clause
⟶ It+ to be + thought/said/ supposed/believed/considered/reported…+ that + clause hoặc
⟶ S + to be + thought/ said/supposed… + to + V-inf
Ví dụ:

Lots of people say he is a good teacher. (Nhiều người nói rằng anh là một nhà giáo tốt)
⟶ It’s said that he’s a good teacher.
⟶ He is said to be a good teacher.

5. Bị động với câu mệnh lệnh

It’s one’s duty to + V-inf
⟶ S + to be + supposed to+V inf

It’s your duty to clean the house today. (Nhiệm vụ của bạn là phải dọn nhà hôm nay)
⟶ You are supposed to clean the house today.

It’s necessary to + V-inf

⟶ S + should/ must + be +P2

It’s necessary to raise the problem in the next meeting. (Việc đưa ra vấn đề này trong buổi họp tới là rất
cần thiết)
⟶ The problem should be raised in the next meeting

Câu mệnh lệnh thức

⟶ S + should/ must + be +P2

Turn on the light, please!

⟶ The light should be turned on.

6. Câu bị động với cấu trúc “Nhờ ai làm gì”

S + have + somebody + V ⟶ S + have + something + P2
S + get + somebody + to-V ⟶ S + get + something + P2

I have my father repair my bike. (Tôi có bố sửa xe cho)

⟶ I have my bike repaired by my father.

I get my friend to cut my hair (Tôi nhờ bạn cắt tóc)

⟶ I get my hair cut by my friend.

7. Câu bị động với MAKE/LET

S + make + sb + V-inf ⟶ S +be+ made + to + V-inf
S + let + sb + V-inf ⟶ Let + sb/st + be P2 hoặc be allowed to V-inf

They make me do all the chores alone. (Họ bắt tôi làm tất cả việc nhà một mình)
⟶ I am made to do all the chores alone.

My parents never let me drive the car by myself. (Bố mẹ không bao giờ cho tôi tự lái xe)
⟶ I am never let to drive the car by myself
⟶ I am never allowed to drive the car by myself.

8. Câu bị động với 7 động từ đặc biệt

S + suggest/require/request/… + that + Clause (S + (should) + V -inf + O)
⟶ It + to be + P2 (of 7 verbs) + that + something + to be + P2

Động từ áp dụng: suggest/require/request/order/demand/insist/recommend

The parents suggested that the children (should) take the exam early. (Phụ huynh đề xuất rằng lũ trẻ
nên làm bài thi sớm hơn)
⟶ It was suggested that the exam should be taken early.
⟶ It was suggested that the exam be taken early.

9. Câu bị động với chủ ngữ giả IT

It + to be + adj + for somebody + to V + to do something
⟶ It + to be + adj + for something + to be done.

It is challenging for us to launch the new product by next Monday. ( Việc tung ra sản phẩm mới vào
Thứ Hai tuần tới là một thách thức với chúng tôi)
⟶ It is challenging for the new product to be launched by next Monday.
