Geronda, Hernandez goes to QFSSLG Election

ohn Benedick N. Geronda, the incoming Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) President,
together with his teacher-adviser, Marissa R. Hernandez represents Cluster 7 in Quezon Federation of
Supreme Secondary Learner Government Elections on June 17, 2023 at M.I. Sevilla’s
Resort, Lucena City.
In accordance with the Division
Memorandum No. 417, s. 2023 titled Quezon
Federations of Supreme Elementary Learner
Government (SELG) and Supreme
Secondary Learner Government (SSLG)
Elections and Planning Workshop, all cluster
level election winners and their designated
teacher-advisers will participate in QFSSLG
election. Since Geronda won as the
President of Cluster 7, he goes to QFSSLG
election, together with his teacher- adviser.
The program proper starts with the
Welcome Remarks of Ma’am Elizabeth M.
De
Villa, the Chief Education Supervisor of
School Governance and Operations
Division. It is followed by a message from
Ma’am Leah A. Perez, Project Development
Officer (PDO) I. After that, the orientation on
the division election guidelines is facilitated
by Mark Angelo M. Tiusan, PDO I.
Mr. Sammy F. Baysa facilitated the
introduction and question round for the elected
cluster SSLG presidents. Geronda wins as the
QFSSLG Protocol Officer.
The second part of the program is the
planning workshop. Ma’am Leah Perez discusses
the Basic Concepts of Data Analysis and Program
Development. The process of creating a project
proposal is elaborated in this session. Right after
the discussion is the crafting and presentation of
the division action plan of the SELG and SSLG.
The student leaders, with the guidance of the
teacher-advisers, crafted and presented the
action plan. It was critiqued by the technical
working group (TWG). A short discussion about
data storytelling and infographics is the next
session, followed by a hands-on activity.
The session concludes in awarding of
certificates to the participates and the TWG and
in photo opportunity.
