Sequence of Basic Job Steps Potential Hazards Hazard Controls (Be as specific as possible /applicable such as by
whom, procedure #, PPE type etc)
1. Shifting the insulation material at the work 1.1 Lower back pain or work related upper 1.1.1 Supervisor shall conduct TI meeting prior to the

2.1.4 Insulation worker shall use dust mask while dealing with the
insulation material.
2.1.5 During high wind the fabrication area shall be covered with the
mesh or plastic sheet for the containment of the dust.
2.2 Finger injury while cutting the woollen 2.2.1 Supervisor shall conducted TI meting prior to the
blanket commencement of the task, all the task hazard including the
figure cut while cutting shall be discussed along with its
control measures.
2.2.2 Only competent and experienced insulation workers shall be
deputed for the task.
2.2.3 Cut resistance hand gloves shall be worn while cutting the
woollen blanket.
3. Fabrication and Installation of metal 3.1 Cut injury due to sharp object 3.1.1 Supervisor shall conducted TI meting prior to the
cladding commencement of the task, all the task hazard including the
sharp object shall be discussed along with its control
measures.
3.1.2 Cladding workers shall wear cut resistance gloves during
fabrication work
3.1.3 Only competent and experienced worker shall be deputed for
the task
3.1.4 During high wind the cladding materials shall be thoroughly
secured to protect it from flying
3.2 Falling object due to lifting and lowering the 3.2.1 Supervisor shall conducted TI meting prior to the
material at height commencement of the task, all the task hazard including the
falling object shall be discussed along with its control
Measures.
3.2.2 Raising and lowering of the tools and materials shall be done
via rope , jinn wheel and SWL bags
3.2.3 The area beneath the lifting operation shall be barricaded and
access shall be restricted for authorized personnel only.
3.2.4 Sign board for falling object hazard shall be posted for the
hazard awareness of all employees in the vicinity
3.2.5 small tools shall have slogan rope connected with it for the
protection of falling object
