NLUO 2nd ANNUAL FLOWER SHOW- 2024

NLUO FOOD FEST - ZAIKA
It is a matter of great pride for the National Law University Odisha that our First Annual Flower
Show 2023 attracted approximately 4000 visitors. We are pleased to announce the Second
Annual Flower Show 2024 in collaboration with NLUO Legal Aid Society and Cuttack Municipal
Corporation (CMC) on 26th and 27th January 2024. Like the previous year, this time also the
Flower Show will have a range of events like cultural programmes and competitions, NLUO’s
flagship Food Fest - Zaika, handicrafts display and sales, sale of flowers, plants and gardening
tools sale etc. The University is happy to invite plant lovers, gardeners, nature enthusiasts,
children and their parents, schools, members of civil society, government officials and all
others to its campus to enjoy its great ambiance, learn more about its range of programmes,
test your taste buds, savour the beauty of nature, engulf yourself in the fun and frolic,
participate in various activities and competitions, basically to have two fun-filled memorable
days in Cuttack.

ENTRIES ARE INVITED FOR THE FOLLOWING COMPETITIONS THROUGH ONLINE (FREE)
REGISTRATION

CATEGORY I - OPEN TO ALL

c) Rangoli / Alpana / Jhoti: FLORAL RANGOLI, COLOUR RANGOLI, WATER RANGOLI,


SAWDUST RANGOLI (TEAM SIZE: OPEN)

Participants will bring their own materials and display board.

CATEGORY II - OPEN TO ONLY INTER-COLLEGE, UG AND PG STUDENTS

a) On the Spot Painting: THEMES: BALI JATRA, HAPPINESS (TEAM SIZE: OPEN)
Participants should bring their own colours, brush, pencil, eraser and papers (A3 size) and
drawing board etc.

b) Flower arrangements: THEMES: PEACE, JOY, DIVINITY (TEAM SIZE: OPEN)

CATEGORY III- Cultural Programmes Competitions: OPEN ONLY TO SCHOOLS, CHILD CARE
INSTITUTIONS AND INSTITUTIONS CARING FOR SPECIAL CHILDREN.

students can participate either in the category of Individuals or in the category of Institution.

Solo & Group Dance Performances by various schools, child care institutions, institutions
caring for special children and college students (Pre-school to 12th Standard) of Cuttack and
Bhubaneswar.

2.00 PM- 3.30 PM: Performances of Children Up to 12 Years of Age

4.00 PM- 6.30 PM: Performances of Children Above 12 Years of Age

FOOD FEST: ZAIKA

Set up by Legal Aid Society in collaboration with some Private Service Providers, NLUO
Students and Staff, Universities and Institutes.
