A. Content Standards The learner understands new technologies that allow new expressions
in arts using art elements and processes
B. Performance Standards The learner creates a tech-based artwork (video clips and printed media
such as posters, menus, brochures etc.) relating to a selected topic from
the different learning areas using available technologies
C. Learning Competencies At the end of the lesson, the learners should be able to:
a. distinguish the different use of Computer/Digital Arts;
b. realize that technology is an effective and vibrant tool for
empowering a person to express his/her ideas, goals, and
advocacies, which elicits immediate action (A10PL-IIh-1);
and
c. create an advertisement of their choice using one of the
Digital Arts.

PRELIMINARY
ACTIVITIES Prayer:

1. The teacher will ask anybody from the class to lead the prayer.

Greetings:

1. The teacher will greet the students and vice-versa.

Attendance:

1. The teacher will look on the seat plan to check who is/are
not present.

Classroom management:

1. The teacher will instruct the students to pick up pieces of trash


near them, fix themselves, shall arrange their seats properly and
keep things that are not related to the class.
2. The teacher will remind the rules to be followed during class hours:
a. Be Respectful
b. No transferring of seats. Only if necessary.
c. Only use gadgets when allowed
d. Participate

Passing of assignments

1. The teacher will ask the students to pass their assignment.


Direction:
In a ½ sheet of paper, define Computer or Digital Arts and give
at least 1 example every type of Art found.
Review:

1. The teacher will ask the students about the previous lesson:
a. What was our lesson all about yesterday?
b. Can anyone tell me what is Performance Art?
c. Who can tell me the difference between Pop Art and Op Art?

Motivation:

“CREATE, SHOW AND TELL”

The teacher will group the students into three groups.

Each group will utilize one cellular phone from their members and will be
given different task:

 Group 1 will create a photo advertisement about their chosen topic;


 Group 2 will create a 30-second commercial video about their
chosen product; and
 Group 3 will create a 30 to 1-minnute film about their chosen story.

The teacher will collect the groups’ output via messenger and will
share each work on screen. One member per group will explain their
output.

process.

Technologies that produce Digital Arts:


1. Cellular Phones – it is a type of art created using a mobile phone or a
smartphone. This can include taking pictures with a phone, editing
them using phone apps, and even using the phone as a tool to
create digital art.
2. Computer-generated Images – is a specific technology or
application of computer graphics for creating or improving images
in art, printed media, simulators, videos and video games. These
images are either static or dynamic.
3. Digital Photography – is the process of using electronic and
computing appliances to capture, create, edit and share
digital images/photographs.
4. Video Games – is a specialized form of computer art
employing video games as the artistic medium.
5. Digital Painting and Imaging Videos – Digital painting is an art
form using computer software while Imaging video is a
multidisciplinary field concerned with the generation, collection,
duplication, analysis, modification, and visualization of videos

A4. APPLICATION Activity – 15 points (individual)

Direction:
Each student should choose one of the forms of digital arts that they
would like to utilize in making either a poster, photograph, or a short-film
about what they feel about the importance of education. Students can
use their phone and send their output on the respective Group Chat to
be checked by the teacher.
