1.3) Introduction of Product Concept
1.4) Value proposition (USP)
The concept of car washing has evolved significantly over the years. The first
automatic car wash was introduced in 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, utilizing a
conveyor system to move car through cleaning process. Over time, the industry
has seen advancement in technology, including touch less car washes, water
recycling systems, and eco-friendly detergents. As environmental awareness
grows, there is a pressing need for cleaner and more sustainable car wash
methods.
The Go Green Car wash project aims to introduce an environmentally
friendly and innovative approach to car cleaning by utilizing steam technology.
Traditional car wash methods often involve copious amounts of water, harsh
chemicals and contribute environmental degradation. In contrast, the steam car
wash system not only conserves water but also minimizes the use of chemicals,
providing a sustainable solution for vehicle cleaning.
Traditional car wash methods contribute to water pollution,
excessive water usage, and the release of harmful chemicals into the
environment. As we already know that most of the cities in India including
metro cities have had some level of water crisis in the past. Every year we see
the stats where the ground water of populated cites are decreasing. Tall
building given rise to sink bore wells as deep as 1000 feet in cities like Delhi,
Mumbai and Bangalore. We waste huge amount of water by washing cars every
day and others on a weekly basis. Fact On an average , we use around 10-15
litres of water to wash our car. That’s 105 litres in a week, 3150 in a month and
37800 litres a year. So every year, to wash one car we use almost 70% of water
a human being can consume throughout his life (14,600 gallons)
On the other hand a steam car wash project has excellent
cleaning power and allows the operators to control the temperature for a wet
or dry wash. It only consumes 3-4 litres of water, prevent water form going to
waste, and emits no emissions. Our Project addresses these concerns by
harnessing the power of steam to clean vehicle effectively. It is versatile in
nature means adapt the steam car wash system to various vehicle types
including cars, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles.
The Go Green Car Wash project
represents a forward – thinking approach to vehicle cleaning, aligning with the
growing demand for sustainable and eco- friendly practices.
GO GREEN CAR WASH
INTRODUCTION
BRIEF INTODUCTION OF THE ORGANIZATION: - In recent years, the global
consciousness towards environmental sustainability has reached new
height, prompting innovative solutions to address the environmental impact

steam car wash centers to wide range of customer. The market research
analyses that the car wash market expected to reach USD 160 million by
2030, which is USD 74.9 million in 2021 at a CAGR of 8.5%. This type of
hybrid car washing and touch less technologies are moving the business
forward during forecast period
How I work
Preparation:
The vehicle is parked in a suitable location, ensuring it’s in a shaded
area if possible.
The technician ensures that the steam cleaning equipment is ready
for use, including checking water levels and ensuring proper
functionality.
Steam generation:
Steam is produced by a steam generator or boiler, typically using tap
water. Some systems also use a small amount of eco-friendly cleaning
agents added to the water for enhanced cleaning.
Application of steam:
The technician directs the steam onto the vehicle’s surface using a
specialized nozzle or wand. The high-temperature steam softens and lifts
darts, grimes, grease, and other contaminants from the surfaces.
Water Conservation
In India, washing a car can use 100–180 litres of water. This is about
70% of the water a person consumes in their lifetime. By using
steam car wash technique for washing the cars its takes only 3-4
litres of water
Time Saving
Normal car wash take 2-4 hours for cleaning a cars ,but the steam
car wash takes only 15-20 minutes or half hour for cleaning a car .
That help customer to save their time.
