PRE-LESSON 1. Pupils recap what they learned in the previous lesson about making a time capsule.
2. Pupils turn to Pulse 2 page 59 and look at the Writing section.
3. Pupils copy the phrases in bold into their notebooks.
4. Pupils think for a few minutes 2 things they would put in a time capsule and at least 1 reason why the items will tell people
in the future about life at present and write down notes on a piece of paper.
LESSON 5. Pupils read the Communication Kit: Making suggestions.
DEVELOPMENT 6. Pupils write a new dialogue of about 100 words between 2 people who want to create a time capsule using the dialogue in
the book a a model and their own notes about the 2 items they would put.
7. Pupils practice their dialogues in pairs and take turns to practice them.
8. A few pairs are chosen to act out their dialogue for the class.
9. All the items suggested by pupils are written on the board.
POST-LESSON 10. Pupils vote as a class for the best item that would represent life at present.
