• The requirements of the relevant fire protection regulations must be observed for the
premises.
• The system was developed according to EN 60601-1.
• Minimum data (e.g. ceiling heights, safety distances) are identified in the Planning
Guide by "min.".
• Basic resistance to sources of electromagnetic interference.
Consequent effects of lightning discharges. The protection objectives of the different
lightning protection zones up to the system connection are specified in IEC 1024, DIN
48810, VDE 0675 and the DEMVT recommendations, as well as in other standards.
Notes 1.1
General Information 0
• With distribution of this revision level, all preceding Planning Guides (PGs), Speed Infos
and their drafts become invalid.
• There must be a note referring to the installation and delivery conditions of Medical
Solutions on all construction plans produced by the Planning Departments. The instal-
lation and delivery conditions shall be included with the plans when shipped.
• Unless otherwise stated, all dimensions are in "mm".
• Orientation points
Points belonging to system components to which reference is made to each other or to
which reference is made in room when positioning system parts. The isocenter of an
X-ray system is always shown as the orientation point.
• Fixpoints
Clearly designated points on system components, installation ceiling, walls, or floors at
which cable outlets are located. Illustration in the drawings: Octagon with letter / num-
ber combination. The cable lengths define the maximum fixpoint distances, and thus
the maximum distances between the individual system components.
• Room height
The room height is the clear space measured from the top edge of the finished floor up
to the bottom edge of the ceiling substructure (bottom edge of the finished ceiling).
Lighting 0
• Room lighting
According to DIN 68 68-57 (international standard in preparation), the lighting in rooms
in which diagnoses are made on video display units (monitors) must meet the following
requirements:
- Adjustable, glare-free and reproducible setting of lighting intensity (e.g. dimmer with
scale),
- No reflection from windows, lamps and viewing boxes when the monitors are in their
standard operating position.

Suggestion for on-site power distributor according to DIN VDE 0100-710 or national
regulations
A Power supply
B Recommendation for power distributor (on-site)
SM CEE grounded outlet for SIREMOBIL
1 To external conductive parts
2 FI switch, 63A/I ∆N 30mA, UN=400/415 V ~ for alternating current and pulsed direct-fault cur-
rents (recommendation: Siemens FI 5SM3 346-4 all current-sensitive). With other power line
voltages, an appropriate FI switch must be obtained on-site.
The listed fuse values apply for an operation voltage of 230 V 1 ~ / 400 V 3 ~. For other operating volt-
ages, the fuse values must be changed to conform to national regulations.
NOTE Power cable for units that are shipped to Great Britain / Ire-
land:
Units that are shipped to Great Britain / Ireland contain a
power cable with a country-specific power connector. To
observe all regulations and guidelines, the length of the
power cable is 5 m. The power connector also has a 13 A
slow-blow fuse installed in it. The values of the internal fuses
in the system (fuses F1 and F2) are not affected by this.
