ACTIVITY PROPOSAL
I. Identifying Information
Program Title: “BTVTED Auto: A Historical Analysis of Unraveling of
Heneral Luna in the Philippine History”
Host: BTVTED Automotive Program
Date: January 13, 2024
Venue: SK Building, Bagumbayan, Libmanan, Camarines Sur
Participants: Automotive 1A, 1B and 1C
II. Rationale
Governor Mariano E. Villafuerte Community College is an institution
that promotes lifelong learning, develop students to become self-reliant and
globally and technically competent that can be able to apply critical
thinking skills in all aspect of life.
The BTVTED Automotive students will conduct historical analysis of
unraveling of Heneral Luna in the Philippine History through a Film Viewing
Activity as part of their final requirement in the subject Readings in the
Philippine History. This activity is a combined culminating activity of
Automotive 1A, 1B and 1C students which aims to equip them with a
critical thinking and reading skills by applying historical methodologies in
the study of Philippine History.
Thus, the proposed activity will provide to the students a total
progress and shows to students who can stick to an activity for an extended
period, has passion, and takes initiative to continue learning and grow to
discover more and enhance their skills in greatest potential and apply what
they have learned in the subject and whenever possible.
III. Objectives
1. Equip students with critical thinking and reading skills by applying
historical methodologies in the study of Philippine History;
2. Effectively use communication strategies in demonstrating the ability
to critique film texts in writing and make interdisciplinary connection
and think independently; and
3. Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively and can effectively
participate as a member of the team.
IV. Expected Outcomes/Deliverables
Showing ability to think critically and overall knowledge in historical
methodologies in the study of Philippine History.
V. Implementation Plan
Pre-Implementation: Conduct virtual planning meeting
Draft the activity proposal
Prepare the program and assigned working
committees
Submit for approval of the activity proposal
During Implementation: Conduct proper coordination and
monitoring among the members of the
committee during the event
Manage the flow of the activity
Post Implementation: Submit accomplishment report
Provide feedback to the technical working
group
