Cách - Diễn tả một hành động đã xảy
dùng ra tại một thời điểm cố định
trong quá khứ.
Ví dụ: He didn’t play football
last Sunday. (Anh ấy đã không
chơi bóng đá vào chủ nhật tuần
trước.)
- Diễn tả chuỗi hành động xảy ra
trong quá khứ.
Ví dụ: This morning, I got up,
had breakfast, went to school,...

Quá khứ tiếp diễn

- Diễn tả hành động đang diễn
ra tại một thời điểm cố định
trong quá khứ.
Ví dụ: At 9 Am yesterday, I was
