RATIONALE:
Midyear Performance review and evaluation allows the facilitation of giving positive
feedback as well as the identification of areas for improvement. This activity provides an
opportunity for discussing and assisting teachers to improve their job performance and
learning outcome positively. DepEd Order No. 34, S. 2024 indicates the 5 days In-service
Training (INSET) break for the teacher or the Mid-Year Performance Review (MPRE) and
midyear break for learners.
This activity is very vital in school to ensure that the targets set during the
Performance Planning and commitment are being monitored, evaluated and progress are
being reported so that it could be achieved. Hence, this 5-day activity is proposed.

 Enabling Objectives: This 5-day activity aims to provide appropriate knowledge,
skills and attitude for the participants to be able to:
1. Review all the teaching performance in the first half of the rating period as basis for
intervention activities.
2. Review and evaluate the implementation of the different programs, projects and
activities for Q1 and Q2 of SY 2023-2024
3. Review and evaluate the progress the learners by looking at the Q and Q2 MPS and
GPA reports.
3. Identify at least 1 least-learned competency for Q1 and at least 1 Q2 per subject per
grade level.
4. Propose and develop appropriate and relevant intervention activities that will address
learning gaps through collaboration efforts.
5. Appreciate the opportunity provides to address developmental needs through active
participation in the learning and development/gender and development activities.

− Child Rights Policy: Adopting the Rights-Based Education Framework in Philippine

− Safe Spaces Act (Republic Act No. 11313).

A.7. Methodology:
This in-person activity will be conducted at the Grade 7 classroom on February 06 to
10 and it will start at 7:30 AM and the program will end at exactly 5:00 PM. This 1
days will be allotted for the Curriculum Contextualization, Localization and
Indigenization Attached is the activity for detailed picture on how this activity will be
conducted.
