Research Title 1: A cashless society: Assessing the effectiveness of G-cash modern electronic
wallets as a tool for payment in the daily transactions of college students of
Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela.
Rationale: Account verification, transaction delays, and customer support are common
problems that most G-cash users who attempt to use their application as a
modern wallet have encountered these problems which results in negative
feedback on their service. The objective of the study is to determine the
difference in the effectiveness of modern electronic wallets and traditional banks
in terms of convenience, safety, and security as modes of payment in every
transaction. The significance of this study will give future researchers a broader
understanding of G-cash usage and its benefits and drawbacks to customers
Questions:
1. What are the perceived benefits and drawbacks of using G-cash compared to
traditional cash?
2. What are the ways that G-cash can be implemented to help its inexperienced
users verify their accounts and avoid customer complaints?
3. What can G-cash do to improve its system in transferring money in accepting
transactions from different banks?
4. What are the differences between traditional banks and modern G-cash wallets
as tools for payment in every transaction?
5. How did G-cash apply diversification in their application service from
ordinary electronic wallets into an app wherein their users can profit money when
using it?
Statement of Aim:
the problem: The purpose of this study is to assess the utility of e-wallets as a payment tool for
students in their day-to-day transactions. The data gathered will identify any
potential challenges associated with students using electronic wallets and the
advantages of using e-wallets over traditional modes of payment.
Objectives:
1. To assess the prevalence and usage patterns of modern electronic wallets
among college students at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela (PLV).
2. To evaluate the effectiveness of e-wallets as payment tools for daily
transactions, considering factors like convenience, security, affordability, and
merchant acceptance.
3. To identify potential challenges and barriers to wider adoption of e-wallets
among PLV students.
4. To explore the potential benefits of a cashless society for both consumers and
sellers.
5. To promote financial inclusion by providing access to payment services for
unbanked or underbanked students.

Research Title 3: Social Media Engagement: A Comparative Analysis of Consumer's Choice and
Preference between Grab and Food Panda in Ordering Food Online During Post-
Pandemic of People of Valenzuela City.
Rationale: This study aims to grasp the important reasons behind customer preference and
decision-making in purchasing food online that have become one of their selected
go-to options instead of making their own when eating at breakfast, lunch, or
dinner. This study will provide elaborate information on customer feedback by
providing specific and accurate responses and supporting evidence. The result of
this study could benefit future researchers when they conduct research regarding
customer feedback and buying patterns regarding their preferred food couriers.
Questions:
1. What are the primary reasons college students at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng
Valenzuela use food delivery apps like Food Panda and Grab Food?
(Convenience, variety, price, etc.)
2. How does the decision-making process differ when ordering food through these
apps compared to traditional methods like going to the restaurant or cooking at
home?
3. What are the factors specific to Valenzuela City or the student population at
PLV that influence app usage or food choices?
4. How do the features and functionalities of each app (Food Panda vs. Grab
Food) affect student preferences?
5. What are the negative consequences of relying heavily on food delivery apps,
such as health concerns or financial strain?

Valenzuela who use food delivery platforms like Food Panda and Grab Food. This
study covers seeking information about students in their order behavior by using
Food Panda and Grab Food. This study also aims to understand the students'
preferences, analyze the factors that affect their decision-making, and evaluate the
convenience of using the two food delivery platforms
Objectives:
1. To identify which platform is perceived as more convenient and why,
considering factors like user interface, order tracking, and customer service.
2. To assess how promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs offered by both
platforms affect students' choices.
3. To know the main factors influencing students' preference for food delivery apps
over traditional dining options.
4. To examine the role of peer influence and social media marketing in shaping
food choices.
5. To identify any potential concerns or challenges related to using these platforms,
such as data privacy or responsible spending.
