SCHOOL YEAR STARTS! MODULE WEEKLY DISTRIBUTION IS ON

by Ed Bryan Quilab

Since we have no face-to-face classes yet, the Mindanao State University at Naawan-
Integrated Developmental School continues the engagement in modular learning. The school
year 2021–2022 began on September 3 and every Friday of the week, learning modules are
given.

The learning mode is two to three subjects per week, which covers the entire quarter of
the subject, with submission due every two weeks. Students and parents who are 16 years old or
older are the only people allowed to get the modules. The modules are released and will be
submitted straight to the school’s fence for safety protocols. Wearing a face mask and
maintaining a one-meter distance is a must for everybody. For easier access by the students, the
modules were already assigned to their areas of their subjects and grade levels.

In the later school years, the campus has been so silent, a long way from what it was
before the catastrophe. Since last year, this new learning method has been a significant challenge
for us. It created a lot of difficulties and put the effectiveness of education to the test. The
Mindanao State University at Naawan Integrated Developmental School encourages us to be
more patient and dream bigger, brighter, and higher. One day, we will be able to fill the campus
with unforgettable experiences and memories once more. Together, we can overcome this test.
