Learning Goals

B+
My two learning goals was to learn how to make podcasts and to learn how
to use technology/social media to create a podcast with legs to build an
audience. These are good goals but still a tad general and perhaps out of the
scope of the project. I did, however, get a general understanding of how to
create podcasts and gained a decent understanding of using tech to create
these podcasts.
Project Plan, Outline, Timeline
A-
I believe I had a clear project objective which was: to create a place for
community and resources for racialized youth aged 18-35 struggling with
healthcare issues. The goal also included raising awareness of how
healthcare is delivered differently for racialized peoples than for White
peoples. The relevance to CW work is clear, its about racialized people and
healthcare and the lack of care/representation that is present.

I believe I did a good job with outlining and planning my work, I created
the PowerPoint and general knowledge of the subject early on. I created the
audio for the presentation soon after and then created the visuals last.
Overall, my planning was solid. My only issue was that while I did create a
timeline, I did not stick to it that much and my timeline that I mostly
followed was in my head.
Digital Content Creation
& Digital Tool
Research

B+

My content was logical and focused on my target audience. I also during the
presentation discussed how my donors were the targets of the workshop. I
discussed my research and provided many facts. I did practice quite a bit
although I fumbled on the sound of the podcast samples. My evidence and
methods for my research was sound and I believe it was easy to understand.
My formatting and citations were well done.

Workshop Session & Annotated Agenda

B

I did have an Agenda for the Workshop Presentation, but I did not present it
during the presentation. My sources were deep thoughtful & had a relevant
selection.
Professional Best Practice
A
I had my camera on the whole time and was behaving professionally. My
presentation was little under 9 minutes but other than that, I think it
went well.
Visual Materials & Icebreaker
A
My ice breaker was relevant and was delivered smoothly and were not
time-consuming. The icebreaker was used to jump into the conversation,
and it did that well. The visuals were used appropriately and sparsely,
focusing on the podcasts, which contained many visuals. The environment
was fun, welcoming and allowed for much discussion.
Well organized, Engaging & Interactive Content
A-
The content was well thought, I used the statistics and general knowledge to
paint a picture of the issue. there was engagement with
participants/audience, ability to engage and draw participants into
conversation. I used discussion questions as well as the podcasts to delve
into the topic. Audiences were active and not passive throughout.

Learning Practice Evident

& Concluding Remarks
B+

I believe my content was well presented and the knowledge I was trying to
impart was well done. I believe I did an ok job of showing off my newfound
goals/skills acquired regarding podcasts and the differing tools. I don’t think
I learned as much about using them from social media perspective. I think I
showed a good, not great, expertise with the tools I used. I think my
knowledge sharing was ultimately good.

I think ultimately My final thoughts are that I did a pretty good job on this
assignment and deserve a B-B+. I was able to get a good grasp of the issues
and was able to present them well. My ability to maneuver the tool was
decent but not great as seen in the presentation.
